Thx,
Anyway, does anyone know is it at
Helsinki - Urho Kekkosen katu 4-6
Avoinna: ma 9-19, ti - pe 10-19, la 12-18
where the tickets are sold at 9.00?
I live in the "pääkaupunkiseutu" so it would be quite close.
I also would want to know (as this is the first time ever for me to go to a concert this huge) that how long do you have to queue outside the ticket-sellers before they open to make sure you get a ticket.
I've waited 6 years for this and I'm not going to let it slip by.
Thx for all the help.

Thanks, J'net!
Soooo.... Who's going? It's gonna be awesome.
I was reading my emails on my cell phone on the bus, and when I saw the announcement from the Finnish promoter, I almost cried. I was choking back tears all the way home.
I think I'm too sensitive.
(Sorry for all the smilies, but there aren't enough words to describe this feeling!!! I just got my presale ticket last night!

I'm sooo happy right now! Though I'm not quite sure if the news have really sunk in yet. I feel like I'm dreaming or something..
I've been thinking that they'd never come back to Finland again :'D
Anyways, I already have tickets so I don't have to panic on Wednesday morning while I'm doing my English exam. Maybe next week when I should receive my tickets, I'll realize that I really am going to see Green Day in Helsinki.

If you're going to buy the tickets at Tiketti, then that's the right place. It's right next to Kamppi, very easy to find
And umm.. I've heard some people have been waiting outside ticket sellers for a whole night but I'm pretty sure the tickets won't be sold out in a few minutes. If you'll go there an hour or two before I think you should be fine.

I followed the whole tour on the internet and read all the updates from the shows, and I never thought that I'd be reading this one. Okay I gotta stop now, I'm making myself cry again.
I'm so excited for all of you, and I can't wait to hear about your wonderful experiences at the show

I stood in line for 7 hours in -13'C weather to get tickets to see Springsteen (their first ever gig in Finland a couple of years ago). I was the second in line, but I suggest that you ask someone to be on the internet that morning to buy tickets for you in case something goes wrong. I remember the computers at Sokos (can't remember which one it was, Tiketti or Lippupiste) went down while others were able to buy tickets online, so anything can happen. Oh and then the whole website went down because there were so many people trying to get them, which was kind of cool.

Hiya! Had to encourage myself to open my mouth here! As you can see, I've registered yeeears ago but never knew what to say to you. Hah. Milla told me to join the conversation here when we were chatting @ the IC forum. So, here I am. Finally.
(My IC nick is yannn.)
And yeaaah I've got 2 tickets to Kylasaari! Can't wait.
Are you guys going alone or with someone? Cause I have 2 tickets but don't know if I have the company.
My bf isn't the biggest GD fan, so I might end up going alone. (Alone with all the 35000 fans.
)

I'm not sure if I already told you or not, but I'm planning on going alone since none of my friends like GD.

Maybe I should write this in Finnish.
Joo, eli keskiviikkona aamuseittemältä jonottamaan toho lippupisteelle. :D On kuiteski semmone pakko päästä -keikka.
I wrote this in Finnish, because my English Goes Sukka (:D:Dsoriolipakko) and I think most of the people who are reading this are Finnish. I just told that I'm gonna get the tickets.
And tickets are sale at Lippupiste (same as Lippu.fi), Tiketti and Live Nation. :) R-Kioski sells them too, but you can buy them from there only with... tapahtumanumero? :D
Here it's some useful links in Finnish:

http://www.livenatio...een-day-tickets
BTW, its Kyläsaari, not Kylasaari. :(

Yeah, it's Kyläsaari, but most people outside of Europe don't have ä's on their keyboards, so it's easier to just write an a instead.

I think that it's possible to make A with two dots even without Ä -key, but it actually doesn't matter. :D I just said.

How about Kylaesaari?
I read that Live Nation is prepared that the tickets will be sold in only minutes!
Hopefully no-one's going to be left without tics. It sucks that people sell the tickets with much bigger price on huuto.net etc just to get profit!

Were you in Stockholm, too? Cos I think we talked about GDC while queuing but I'm not sure if it was you : D

I'm going with at least 4 friends but I'm sure it's not a problem if you're going alone
edit// Have you read the Varusteet page on greendayhelsinki.com? It's insane o.O "Jos olet raskaana niin kuulostele omaa kuntoasi ja jaksamistasi ja ota huomioon kuinka pitkällä onnellisessa odotuksessasi olet" "Mikäli sääkartta näyttää Helsinkiin pilviä ja vesipisaroita, ota mukaasi sadetakki." what the fucking fuck? 8D they're telling us what to wear, and to be careful if we're pregnant? Nice.

^How cute, taking care about us. :D But I think it will come very hot in.....yleisö and rain would feel just good. So maybe I won't take raincoat with, just hoodie or something. And I think I'm not pregnant. :0
And I'm going with my two cousins. :) I'll buy tickets to them too on wednesday.

Well I HOPE I'm not pregnant.
Hopefully it's not gonna rain, but I don't think it would make any difference, it's going to be insane anyways.
I'll probably know closer to June whether I'm coming alone or not. I'll let ya know.

FINALLY!
I've been waiting for 6 years for this to happen! Immediately when I heard about the show I rushed to my mom and asked if we could go on a trip to Helsinki this summer! And she said (unbelievably) YES!
The only bad thing is that on Wednesday.. when the tickets are being sold, I'm in the car on my way to Vaasa. But I asked my God mother if she could order tickets for me, and she will. She's having a HUGE pressure on her.. 'cuase if I don't get tickets.. I'll be really sad!
How long do you think it'll take for the tickets to be sold out?

I'm going too.
I got my tickets from Idiot Club on Thursday, I'm so glad I don't have to worry about them anymore.
I so didn't expect that they'd come here, but I'm so fucking happy that they're coming, because I know there's a lot of Finnish fans who've want to see Green Day for years. We finally get a chance to see them in our country. :]
