Now this is one great series. So, in general, this series is about a boy named Percy, who is half Greek god, half human. Because of this, he is able to do many things that regular old humans can't, such as making fountain water attack this girl that provoked him. He goes to this camp for half bloods called Half Blood Hill, and basically learns how to survive. It makes more sense if you read it, and I really recommend it.

I just started the first book in this series, I'm a little over halfway and I have to say I'm enjoying it. He just left on his first quest.

I heard the movie was pretty bad though.

I just recently got into this series. It's good, but not great.
I have "The Last Olympian" on hold at the library. I can't wait to read it. :)

I'm stuck at "The Last Olympian". I can't seem to find a single copy ANYWHERE. Not at the library or the bookstore. This is so frustrating!!! :runaround:

My sister lent all of the books from her friend. I finished the first one in two days. I could NOT put it down. I started the second one last night. I really love these books. I love how Percy and Annabeth are always bitching at each other, yet they're still really good friends.

I just finished reading the first book since I had to read it for school over the summer. I saw the movie first though because my friend forced me to watch it since she thinks the actor who plays Percy is hot O_o
So anyways, I read the book and noticed how different the book is from the movie. The movie was horrible so I was dreading reading the book and put it off til this week, the week before school  I loved the book! I can't wait to get my hands on the second one! :D

I've read all the books - and I love them. They're really funny, and I like the story. The last book is my favorite.
Oh, and Green Day is mentioned :shifty: in.. I thought the third book. Anyway, there's this punk girl who seems to like them =).

Ive read the whole series and I loved them all. My favorite charecter is Thalia, the Green Day fan. She seems pretty awesome. Anyway, great story and it had a bit of sarcastic humor in it that I loved. Definitely read it.

The book is way better than the movie, which is still ok,but if someone read the book first and watched the movie then he noticed more things that lack in the movie...

It is a good series - I enjoyed them all. The film's not as good as the book, but that's normally the case - although that's not to say it wasn't good. Rick Riordan's also written a sequel series: the Heroes of Olympus - that's also worth reading if you haven't already done so. :)

I love Percy Jackson! My favourite book was the Lightning Thief or Battle of the Labyrinth or however it's spelled. The movie was alright, not as good as the book though.

Riodan's sequel is quite fun. Can't wait for the next chapter (book!).
