This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I found it buried in a pile of books at this rickety little second-hand bookshop for super cheap. They also had a really nice edition of Cry the Beloved Country, but I could only afford one book.

I read the brazilian version (portuguese edition) of this Fitzgerald book, and I liked SO MUCH.

Very recommended :3

Divergent - Veronica Roth (It was decent. If you like books about dystopian-like societies then you'll probably like this one. It's a trilogy as well).

Bought JK Rowling's The Casual Vacancy last night, a few pages in now.

Girl at the cash said to me "If you weren't wearing a university sweater I would have asked you if you were even old enough to read this"

I bought For Whom The Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway.

Haven't started to read it yet as I'm forcing myself through The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. Great book, and I'm an atheist, but it's just such heavy writing for what I'm used to.

I got a copy of Catch 22 for three dollars at a thrift store a few days ago. I haven't read it yet but I'm looking forward to it. Mostly because a ska band I really like named themselves after the book...

I just bought a book called Zombies vs Unicorns. It's an anthology of short stories of both creatures to try and see which one is best. Sounded interesting.
