I'm confused about that too, one thing states aug 25th as the end of the first leg of the tour, but IC says 2 L.A. dates Aug. 26th, so I'm hoping it means 25th and 26th.

I'm thinking of flying over from Ireland to see the shows in Sacremento and LA. Does anyone know how much it costs to stay in a hostel over there? Also, how much would it cost to travel by train between those two places? Just trying to get an idea of how much it would cost me. Thanks.

Where do you guys think the shows will be? I'm thinking Home Depot, which is where I saw them for the AI tour, but I'm hoping it won't be there, I'd like something a little smaller, like the Forum. But wherever it is, I'm going to both. I regretted not doing that for AI.

I hope it's at the Forum. Did you say it couldn't be at the Staples Center because that date was taken? Because I also hope it's at a smaller place

Hostels in LA are around $25 and the best ones are in Venice, Santa Monica and on Hollywood BLVD.
There's two different trains that go from Sacramento to LA, the coast starlight and the caltrain. whenever i take them it's usually around $60 one way and if you get them early.

cheers for your help. i think the whole trip would cost me around £1000 which i suppose is about 1500 dollars. not sure what to do cos i know they will be in the uk and ireland in the autumn but i just think it would be great to see them in the usa. is anyone else thinking about travelling long distances to see them?

Rrrr I hope it's at the Forum or The Greek Theatre.
The Greek Theatre is outside and it like AMPLIFIES IT because it's up high, in the mountains surrounded by rocks.(Echo, echo XD)
Your ceiling is the stars 8D It's a really cool place to see a concert.
Staples Center=aaaahhhhh crazy. I believe one of my family members took me along to see 'American Idol on Tour' like a few years back and it was a MADHOUSE I tell you. It was like that for a few other bands I saw there too.

Yeah, I did say couldn't be Staples Center, which I'm glad about too. I'm still thinking Home Depot Center, which I did not like at all, even the closest seats were too far away from the stage.

Ok, it's not the Greek, they got something else scheduled on the 25th. Ugh, please don't be Home Depot Center.

Oh! another possibility, the Nokia, nothing on the schedule for the 25th. I've never been there though, don't know what it's like.

I don't really like the forum. I mean, it's okay. I would have preferred some other LA venues.
Anyone with me?
BTW, I'll still be there. I'm also going to the SD date.

Yayyyyyy! The Forum! Never been to that one yet, but cool. I'll have to ask mom if she went there before, she's been to a LOT of concerts in the LA area.

I've been to 5 shows there. One thing I don't like about it is it's location. It's near Ingleweood, which is pretty ghetto. My friend actually had her car broken into once in the parking lot, and she had her radio stolen. Altho to be fair, I've never had that happen to me the 5 times I've been there.
As far as the venue, I don't really care for the sound. But it's a typical sports arena. I really would have preferred they play somewhere more prestige like the Hollywood Bowl or Nokia Theater. That's just my 2 cents.

WHOOOO!!!
I am so gonna be there.
It sorta sucks that we have the last US date...but then we have that Last Call thing for a whole week here too, so I guess it isn't so bad.

I'm sure both seating and standing will be available. I've been to many concerts at the Forum. I'm trying to decide that myself, which is better. If you get good seats, it's okay, but standing would probably be more fun, but then again, who knows how close you could get. So it's a hard choice to make.

Are there really going to be two shows? Because I've only heard of one so far.

i think that might have been a mistake on the idiot club because the second date has disappeared.. i don't know. it would be cool if they played twice though.
