The Prestige... I saw it last week and it has been one of the best movies I've seen in my whole life, it has an awesome plot, the actors are absolutely brilliant (Christian Bale, Scarlett Johanson, Huge Jackman, Michael Cane)... and the stroyline keeps you attracted the whole time...

The Bucket List

It's a story about 2 guys; Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) and Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman) who have cancer and have around 6 months to live. They meet at the hospital and become friends, and then they decide to go on a road trip around the world with a list of "to-do's" before they die, The Bucket List.

^ That looks like a good movie.

Hmm, I'll recommend one of m favourites here I guess, there's many that I can recommend, a lot of oldies, but they're the best.

* The Ringer.
* Police Academy (there's 7 of 'em.)
* Airplane.
* Pink Flamingos.
* Zoolander.
* Kung Fu Hustle.

that's just a few for now.

I'm not a huge fan of Action however, when a friend forced me to see this movie, I changed. This is a great movie!

I re-recommend Zoolander. I thought it was hilarious.
It's for people who like stupid movies though, so if you have a smartass attitude, don't watch it, you'll think it sucks.
If you've watched and like movies like Scary Movie and Dude, Where's My Car?; you'll most likely love this one biggrin.gif

I thought this movie was sad....esp. the part with the dog. I had to walk out of the room. Besides that though, the movie was good. A lot of parts made me jump though. tongue.gif

Let me think..........I've seen a lot of movies..........here are a few....

Sweeney Todd - Just amazing.
Stardust - Robert DeNiro in this movie is hilarious.
Alvin & the Chipmunks - Yeah a kid's movie, but I thought it was good and it left you feeling good and singing that damn chipmunks song!
P.S. I Love You - If you like sappy movies like me, this one is for you.
Sydney White - It's a cute movie.

Movies I would NOT recommend.

One Missed Call - That was fucking stupid!
Alien Vs. Predator: Requim - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

"Original Sin", with Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie.

Excellent movie. Both Angelina and Antonio did an excellent job, and it was just great, everything. I loved Louis' love for Julia, he loved her so much he'd kill and die for her, and he did.
It's nearly 2 hours long but it doesn't bore you for a minute.

One of of the best quotes from the movie:

Louis: Laugh when I tell you that I still love you.
Julia: No, not me. You don't love me.
Louis: Oh yes. Oh yes. Yes, you. Not Julia Russel, Not Bonny Castle. You. I love you as I know you. Because I know you. As you are. Good and bad. Better and worse. I told you this already, but you didn't believe me. Tonigh you will. To us. A short life but an exciting life. *takes poison*
Julia: Don't do that!
Louis: No other one. No other love but you. From first to last. Start to finish. Don't change, Julia. Don't ever change.

Yeah, the only sad part was when the dog died, when Will (Forgot the character name) died, it was like "Well, whatever".

I've recently seen and enjoyed:

Southland Tales.
I absolutely loved it. A lot of people thought it didn't make sense, and I did have to watch it twice. But wow, it was amazing.

The Air I Breathe.
It really made me think, and it's movie you shouldn't analyze, but just free your mind with it.
Forest Whitaker, Kevin Bacon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Andy Garcia, Brendan Fraser, and Emile Hirsch all give amazing performances.
(For people who think of SMG as just Buffy, she'll fucking blow you away in this.)

And just for extra:

Grindhouse: Planet Terror and Death Proof.
I'm watching them again right now. They're fucking genius.

One Missed Call

it's very scary, it's about a girl who got locked in her room because she wanted to cut her sisters hand and she kept on crying but there was no oxygen or whatever's inside the inhaler so while she was calling her mom she died and her spirit went inside the phone and that spirit video calls a person of the person screaming for his/her life and sends a messege of when the person dies, then the spirit goes inside the dead person's mobile and does the same thing

i totally reccomend it smile.gif
sorry if the summary of the movie is long tongue.gif

I'll recommend a movie that isn't really that well known. I fell that's a better use of the thread. Since we've all heard of these blockbusters.

Once
The Big Sleep
The Lives of Others
Das Boot
Paradise Now
Good Bye Lenin
On The Waterfront

tremors 1 - 3

Wicked funny, and unique. These are not lame gore movies, they have a plot, and they're funny.

1: In perfection valley Nevada these giant worms called graboids eat people and all 12 people who live there have to kill them.
2: Aforementioned graboids turn up in Mexico at an oil refinery, 2 of the main characters go to Mexico to kill them for cash, except something unexpected happens. ohmy.gif
3: The worms show up again in Perfection Valley, except the worms do something new! ohmy.gif
