This could be the most popular thread here, unless you guys have discussed everything about them in the Movies forum.

I have only read up to the 5th.
I think I grew out of them, because I just couldn't even get through the first chapter of the 6th one. I think I'll never finish the series, I don't know, it got boring to me and just realised it is pretty poor in terms of literary resources.

But it was fun to read the other 5 when I was younger.
I guess I'll always wonder what happened in the end.

You meant "read", probably..? tongue.gif

I've read the whole series and I loved it. I'm glad about the ending of it, although it was a happy ending (I wanted it to be sad tongue.gif), it was a nice and maybe a bit unexpected one.
My favourite book is 3rd, I guess.

I love the 4th, and the 5th the best I think. and probably the 7th as well. Though I like being at Hogwarts. But the 7th has such great events. I don't know. They're all amazing.
ahh i wish Beedle the Bard was being fully released. It'd be so cool to have. Especially since she hand wrote and illustrated it all.
at leasttt there's the encyclopedia still left ;]

i've always liked the 5th book the best, too. the emotional breakdowns and stuff is just amazing. i didn't like the 1st/2nd ones that much. maybe they just got old, but nothing really happens in those.

Book 3 is most probably my favorite.
And Book 5 is so amazing.
Book 7 was really good and all, but I honestly thought it was too rushed and Harry got lucky sooo many times.

And wth, she made Dobby die. crying.gif

Prisoner of Azkaban used to be my favorite until Deathly Hallows came out, so for me it goes:

7th
3rd
5th
4th
6th
1rst
2nd

Although I find all of them great.

my favorite book is either OOTP, COS, or DH. i love them all, though.
these are the best books i ever read, and probably ever will read. i'm so sad to see it's over.

any author who can get children to WANT to get off the internet to read a BOOK automatically gets at an A+ in my book.

I was quite sad when he died, but to me the worst was when Fred Weasley died (or was it George? cant remember). I was on msn while reading and I had my friend who had already read it and I went to her crying because Fred was dead laugh.gif, and she convinced me that he wasn't dead at the end, and I kept reading all happy convinced Fred was alive somewhere but he wasn't sad.gif. My friend just told me that so I'd stop crying, lmao.

Seriously, Harry Potter has changed my life. I start reading them when I was like 9 or 10 years old. The Harry Potter books were the first books I actually really enjoyed reading. I actually believed Hogwarts was real tongue.gif. Before I turned 11 I hoped an owl would come and give me a letter to go to Hogwarts. Of course my sister told it wasn't real but that didn't keep me from dreaming tongue.gif.
So yeah I love reading the books and yesterday I finished the last book, i can hardly believe that it really is the last Harry Potter book i'll ever read. Although the last book was amazing. When I finished reading it I felt delighted, sad, confused and surprised all at once. It even made me cry tongue.gif. I couldn't bare the thought she let fred, lupin & tonks die. Why did she do that? But it would be totally unbelievable if she didn't let anyone die.
My favourite book is definitely the last one. But I love all of them smile.gif.

My favorite book is certainly no. 6. I love the imagery involved in all of the pensive scenes. 7 comes in second place since its so grown-up.

Let's do a HP fan survey!

Have you read all the Harry Potter books? YES DURR

Have you seen all the Harry Potter films? YES DURR

How many of the books did you get the day they came out? The last 3

How long did it take you to read Deathly Hallows? 2 days

Which is your favorite Harry Potter film so far? Order of the Phoenix. I think. It's a hard one.

Who is your favorite character? Harry then next would be Snape, then Ron

Which character do you dislike the most? Umbridge, only cause JK was so good at making her evil

Which Harry Potter character would you like to see a book written based on (not that it's going to happen)? Sirius/The Marauders

Do own any Harry Potter stuff other than books and films? Yes...quite a lot.

If you could be an animagus, what would you be? a wolf.
