MusicalDeviant Posted May 18, 2007 Share Posted May 18, 2007 As it turns out, 2 of the actors in the 2005 movie "The Chumscrubber" were in Green Day videos the same year.One was the male lead in the "Wake me UP When September Ends" video (Jamie Bell)and the other played the Jesus of Suburbia (Lou Taylor Pucci)Though the two were in seperate videos, both videos were for songs from the same album, and the JOS video was the next Green Day video after the WMUWSE video.Since the film was probably shot in 2004, and both the green day videos were shot in 2005, its possible that the two actors became friends while shooting "The Chumscrubber," and after Jamie Bell got the role in the WMUWSE video he helped Pucci get the role in the JOS video.Its cool how those actors have that kind of thing in common. MusicalDeviant Posted July 21, 2007 Author Share Posted July 21, 2007 I just realized something.While watching the movie "Thumbsucker" which came out in 2005, I realized that the main character was played by the guy who played Jesus of Suburbia in the JOS video.But what's also interesting is that the main character's love interest in the movie is played by the girl who played Whatsername in the Jesus of Suburbia video.What an awesome coincidence.
