I feel like Rush is kind of a musician's band. Like you have to be into music as a whole to really like them. All three of the guys are great examples of how to play your instrument. And damn do they blend. Love me some Rush.

Overrated, and very overproduced.

asshole
THEY KICK ASS

I love YYZ. http://www.greendaycommunity.org/Forum/p...

I tried playing Red Barchetta on the drums. TRIED!!
although that was a yar ago. Neil Peart, im afraid, is better than Tre. Sorry. But Tre's more of a character. :eyebrows:

Clockwork Angels is coming out next month! A couple of weeks ago they released a song called Headlong Flight.

And here's Bu2B and Caravan, in case you haven't already heard them. Isn't it odd that I've never posted on this thread before  ?

One of my first gigs was Rush with my dad when I was like 10. Freewill was always my favourite, Tom Sawyer and YYZ are pretty awesome too. :)

Yeah, I agree that no band is as talented as Rush. I saw them live in early November, and they were amazing.
In my opinion, Neil Peart is the greatest drummer who's ever lived.

I've had "Fly By Night" stuck in my head all day.  Been really into them ever since I saw them get inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday.  Dave Grohl really knows how to sell a band to you.

Great to see Rush finally get immortalized. They are hands down one of the best acts from Canada. Neil's drumming and Geddy's bass playing are the best in the industry but what most people kinda disregard is Alex's guitar playing. He is one of the best, just try playing one of their songs. He was on Rolling Stone's top 100 guitarists so he is doing something right

Rush is one of the most underrated bands in my opinion. There's just something about them that most people don't quite understand. And no, I'm not talking about Geddy Lee's voice.
