The reactions to "People live here" are overwhelming. I seriously didn't expect my favorite band to become better but they exceeded all my expectations.

Here's a couple I found:

A song to humanity.... Incredible... Listen to the words. It's time we stepped back and realized that we are only destroying ourselves; a family that is bent on destroying itself because of narrow-minded ignorance, and blind pride.

I love the relevance of this song in grief of all the tragic world events happening.  The CARING is what Rise Against is about!

This song doesn't just define an album. It defines a generation.

Greatest song of all time

Best Rise Against song ever IMHO.

This song could create world peace. <3 Love it

People Live Here has been on repeat all day. I think it's officially tied with The Good Left Undone for my favorite Rise Against song.

Rise Against’s Tim McIlrath, “Civil War” (Guns N’ Roses cover) premiere

A-F Records is releasing a new compilation of protest songs, This Concerns Everyone, on November 18. The comp features such artists as Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Tim Mcllrath (Rise Against), Chris Wollard (Hot Water Music), Chris Conley (Saves The Day) and more. Pre-orders are on sale now. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Right To Heal Campaign—a joint effort between the Iraq Veterans Against The War, Organization Of Women’s Freedom In Iraq and the Federation Of Workers Councils And Unions In Iraq.

For now, AP is excited to premiere the contribution by Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath—a cover of Guns N’ Roses’ “Civil War.” Stream it below, and let us know your thoughts.

A good 5 or 6 years ago, I used to listen to Rise Against quite a lot. And now, I'm close to back to that point! Seeing them headline Open Flair festival in Germany this year brought back so many (good and less good) memories. It's a shame I had kinda forgotten about them all the years.
