The thing is that they are in the same studio doing so. This time would be different but that's one of the wonders of the cloud work right now. I don't think Mike or Tre are scared for not doing stuff on quarantine. BJ is a workaholic guy. He said that several times. Is not necessary they follow the pace of BJ of doing things. That's why they take time doing stuff. They have different priorities now, like enjoying their families, thing they didn't do in the past. Also I think some people underestimates how important is a good bassist and specially a good drummer in a band. Yes the three of them comment was the tip off, not just the fact that it was posted to Green Day, because so were the BJA covers (all posted on the Green Day YouTube channel too).
