I don't know if this means we'll get to see more, less or the same amount of Green Day's performance:

I know they are doing the NHL all star game but does anyone know if they are coming to the east coast to promote this album ?

I think we can assume they are, it just hasn't been announced yet

Actually, the fact that we haven't heard anything yet is a little worrying. For Muse (who had their gig on the 3rd of November last year), the "full" (45min) broadcast was announced on the 18th of December. We haven't heard anything from Green Day yet though...

I wonder if they are holding it for nearer the album release date?

Starting to think this isn't happening. Do they often not release the full show?

They never release full shows on TV. So don't get your hopes up

Is this the band's decision? If so, it's pretty stupid in terms of marketing and building up the hype 😄. They did the same thing during the RevRad era though, so I'm disappointed but not surprised 😄

This accurately descibes my reaction to about 99,9% of Green Days marketing decisions.

Instead of concentrating on making crappy tweets like this they should release the footage of GD. If they think that we will simply "forget" that the footage exists they are mistaken.

Someone should tweet back to MTV a meme of all the fans waiting for their world stage performance,

The picture that I posted on the previous page and Nightlife's meme above are the most accurate at portraying how GD fans feel about the lack of footage. Perhaps either could be used as a tweet back to MTV?

Here's the picture that I posted

That's one of the saddest attempts at making a meme I've ever seen.

The fact that GD is facebook is sad too

I think it fits pretty well considering whenever someone mentions Facebook the first thing that comes to mind are middle aged people.
