That gives me a teeny bit of hope, I read the nyet as the Russian no.

I think maybe they intended them to be heard the way they were when they were first created, on vinyl and cassette. I would love a digital copy as well though.

Ohhh I don’t know Russian so didn’t know that was Russian for no lol I was reading it as a Cajun way

Hmmm.... if that’s true, then the demo is older than I initially thought. The weird thing though, is that the demo was recorded at Gilman. Maybe this is actually another, even older, demo than the one I know about. Hopefully the release includes the date it was recorded.

what sucks about not having stuff like this on CD is that it becomes really hard to get a nice high quality digital copy of a song, at least with CDs you could pay roughly the price of MP3, and still get MP3 from it.

That’s the one I have. It works fine, although the switch you pull to open it broke off a few days after I bought it.

You’ll get better audio from ripping the vinyl though! :)

There was a clip of this demo in the vh1 driven doc

That's the album version, not the demo :) However, I did notice a brief clip of them covering Sweet Baby's "She's From Salinas"! That was pretty cool to hear

You must not read my posts then. Just because I do not like this version doesn't mean I hate everything.

Not every song that has Demo in the title makes it automatically good...

I don’t know how Tim Yo could have heard this and decided it wasn’t punk enough. It doesn’t sound poppy at all.

actually upon further listening it appearsit might be a different demo tape. still its a demo noone talks about.

Oh, that? I wouldn’t call that a demo. Sounds like a jam session they’re having in the garage. One of those clips is them covering “She’s From Salinas” by Sweet Baby
