I definitely think he’d be difficult to work for. I adore him and therefore would probably never want to work for him directly, haha. In my experience, the more confident, driven, and unapologetic the artist, the harder they are to work for (even if they’re not an asshole). I think he’d be difficult to live with too but in a different way. And there’s more reward to the latter as you said  😜😉.

Guys, I give you a quick hello, I haven't got much time lately but I'm so happy to read this thread as usual .

And fortunately Billie hasn't gone slimmer or less chiny on this leg of the tour, why on earth would he :

As for the nose hair , as far as I'm concerned, he can let the gray take over.

Yeah, in other pictures from the hotel there he looks like he’s loving it but then other times it’s just a little too crazy. I don’t remember the other legs of the tour being anything like this. It’s like Beatlemania, there are crowds at every hotel and at the airports. No wonder they always remember South America fondly, we only see a fraction of the craziness that they see and it is definitely different from Europe and the US where they meet small groups of polite fans here and there. I can’t believe the screams 😱

I doubt they'd need a police escort across town just because of fans outside the hotel and venue. I'd guess it's more a general security measure (some places are more dangerous than others) or even a traffic thing.

I agree. They're so much more appreciative because they don't get the regular tour stops like the rest of the world. The rest of us (N America, Europe, Australia) take it for granted that they'll be somewhere near us. For Asia and S America it's possibly a once in a lifetime thing. I think the band know and appreciate that, but it's got to be exhausting at times.

@Hermione has the right answer. If you've ever watched the tv show called Don't Drive Here, the episode in Mexico City, the tv host's goal is to drive like one of the professional drivers in one of those security convoys. In South America, there are a lot of drugs dealers and criminal organizations who are ready to kidnap wellknown/celebrities/rich people to exchange them for money. So, it's a common thing down there to have  a security convoy around  another vehicule in which the people of interest are taking place . The security convoy is «allowed» to go over the speed limit, to not stop at red lights and stop signs, and it can block traffic whenever it needs to without asking for any kinds of permission. If you want to see how stressful this job is, part of the Don't Drive Here episode in Mexico City is on Youtube.

Honestly, it may sound over the top to some of us but it would be negligent of them to not take appropriate security precautions when they are travelling in some countries, I don't mean that as an insult, it's just how things are.  Look at what happened to Lewis Hamilton's F1 crew at the weekend.  That's not a road anyone wants to go down, I wonder if the plane is part security/part distances/timings?  We'll probably never know but it too seems a little out of character, much as I think it  looks supper cool!

The information about the police escort is eye-opening for me in my little suburban bubble, thank you. I'm glad they're keeping them safe down there. 

Also, from the pics it appears that Billie is back in full eyeliner mode and I'm happy about it.

Yesssss! That's why it's one of my favorite songs ever. I remember hearing it for the first time, it hit me hard. I was someone else.

And this reminds me of the scene in Heart Like a Hand Grenade where Billie starts crying when they finish recording Whatsername. It kills me every time
