There was a longstanding myth that it was about Adrienne (I think because we all thought BJA said so himself) but then in a recent interview he said it's not about Adrienne so everyone was confused and going "Oh Billie" lol. Although I guess they're not all necessarily "about" her or even about the type of person she was/relationship they had, some were inspired by her in more obscure ways (eg She was a response to a poem she'd [edit] showed him). They filmed it too, from around 5:30 if you haven't seen it The only thing that's kind of annoying about that is it meant no one ever asked them about the song in interviews because they always just asked about the dominatrix story instead.
