Having such a licence plate has been - still is - a certain status symbol. (Because it means you either have "powerful" friends or money.) Well, you can have funny licence plates like this But your options are very limited, because the first letter is always the label of the city or district you live in, then you have to choose two other letters (most go for their initials) and 2 to 4 numbers. So I could never have something like "revrad", I think Maybe it is possible, but I have never seen anyone do it, not even rich people.
