In my personal opinion, it's the best they've made since then and one of their best ever. This could've easily been the official video. Besides Ordinary World, their lyric videos for Revolution Radio are really of the charts in terms of creativity and power. 21 minutes ago, Hermione said: Wow this is fantastic! I like how the video actually gives the song more of a meaning, makes it seem less generic or cliched. You definetely need to watch it multiple times to actual see everything in the video. Loved that video and I was thinking why wasn't that song used for a lyric video. Probably my favorite song from the new album lyrically. It feels very honest and genuine. stories and songs Posted January 16, 2017 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I'm proud of my favorite band because they stand up for their beliefs and are, in my opinion, on the right side of history. At a time when few popular musicians are really making a political statement with their art, I am wildly proud that my favorite band is brave enough to say how they feel. Making a video that shows the progress of MLK against the backdrop of the new era we're heading into is powerful. I know people always say that Green Day isn't doing that much by putting their political views in their music, but they are. If it wasn't a big deal, more people would do it. I really believe that they should release them all as singles. Spread it out of course, but all these songs could potentially do good things for their career. Take a look at the track listing, every song is amazing! Back to reality though......These lyric videos are good 'feelers' for songs. I haven't researched this yet but I believe that's the main purpose of them. See which ones get the most views and positive feedback, AND allow the people at concerts to know the words to newer songs that perhaps they haven't heard from the new album. Good one!
