Starting to think the American Idiot movie isn't gonna happen

    Music obviously takes priority over movie plans. After American Idiot Green Day was busy with the world tour and the recording and outlining for 21st Century Breakdown, and right after that they composed 40+ songs for the trilogy. So sorry if they have very little time to focus on the movie and get it to you in a timely manner.

    Green Day has barely anything to with the production process, Billie might or might not play St. Jimmy but at this phase in the movie process, the negotiation is a lot more of a concern for the producers and Micheal Mayer.

    Green Day barely has anything to do with the production process? Yeah, it's not like it's their music or their ideas or anything. Why even bother bringing this up if you're just going to dismiss this with over simplifying generalizations? Seems like a huge waste of time on your part.
