Muse wouldn't probably exist without radiohead.

I like both bands as well, however I can also see that one hugely influenced the other, which isn't hard to do if you take the blinkers off. Obviously Radiohead are better than Muse.

I thought this is 2013 but you guys seem to be stuck in 1999. Muse's first album was similar to Radiohead, but after that they devolved their own style, image, and sound. Holding Muse in the shadow of Radiohead for 13 years is like those people that hold Green Day in the shadow of Dookie for 18 years. Let it go and live in reality, you're a decade behind everyone else.

"THEIR EARLY STUFF was basically just a Radiohead tribute act."
"Muse wouldn't probably exist without radiohead." As in, the start of their career was influenced by Radiohead.
Don't understand the issue here? As they went on they carved a niche for themselves in big bombastic space guitar rock, but it took them a couple of albums. Which is fine. Radiohead's first album was a shit grunge ripoff and now they're probably the best band of the last 20 years.
