New songs means new tour. This is all I care about.
Also, I'm very optimistic for their next record because everything is great lately.
There's no need for negativity. They just entered the HOF and they gave amazing performances.
Billie is healthier than ever and the whole band seems happy.

What if Green Day was the opening act for Sweet Children's next tour?

    Thank you, friend.
I just pointed out that in the last pages Ι see people having fun with leaving insulting comments on a person.
I think this thread called "How Can Green Day Revamp Their Career?"
Probably Green Day can revamp their career with Billie start drinking again and with offensive comments to other people.

Everytime I read the comments I only see offensive comments and bullshit about how nice it would be if Billie start drinking again and played some "great" shows before he died.

You have good taste in music.

I think that if Billie let his hair grow long until Hall of Fame he will look like Lion-O from Thundercats.

I found this quote from Pete Wentz:

" I think to me it was more of this idea that rock’n’roll is an attitude, it’s a counter-culture, and when we lose sight of that it’s unfortunate because we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for certain rock’n’roll bands, and certain rock’n’roll moments. For me it was [Green Day’s] Dookie. That was a really important record for me to understand that you can do this thing the way you want to do it. We each have those. If anything I hope that’s what this record is for a lot of people. You can put it on and you feel like this is something you could do, and that you could relate to, and it’s OK to be a little different and strange."

and then a quote from Patrick Stump:

"He (Billie Joe) didn't want to play four-chord punk rock for the rest of his life. If anybody knows anything about punk rock more than Billie Joe from Green Day, I don't know who it is. So I looked at that and their growth, and I think about how honest that is. They're really just true to what they are, and so that's how we are,” added Stump. “I think we'll change stylistically, but at the end of the day, that's just something you wear. You're still yourself."

They really seem to love Green Day.

    Wait till my next setlist.
8th ave serenade it's one of my favourites from Tre and I really wanted to add one song from Tre, so I chose that song.
Next time I will put Church On Sunday after East Jesus Nowhere.

I don't understand why you said that the clothing style of Green Day is emo when emo is basically a rip off of punk and goth style.
The eyeliner, the ties, the studded belts, the haircuts were there before emo.
The style of the band during the era of American Idiot was great.

Mike Ness was the first emo back in 80's and 90's. Yes Social Distortion were emo because true punks don't wear eye liner. lol

Yes, I saw Tre patting his heart at the end. He seems very emotional. And the back drop is amazing and fits great with the song.
