You think a video that looks at the impact of what was a current event isn't emotional? You think their relationship being torn apart by his sense of duty to his country isn't sad? You don't think that at the end when it is implied that he died in war and left his partner who was so young is emotional?
It's a sad song, the video doesn't have to tell you the exact story the song tells.
People can take different meanings from a song than why the songwriter originally wrote it and that song is just all about grief and mourning and it applies to so many people because it's not totally obvious what it's about if you're not a huge green day fan.
Yeah, wasn't it that he tweeted saying he could see Billie at some warehouse thing filming Oh Love and then he posted a picture of his converse and everyone flipped the fuck out saying that it MUST be Billie because he has those converse. (Because y'know, it's not like multiple people can own the same kind of converse ).
Urg, got to be honest Catching Fire and Mockingjay were such a drag to read. I ate up the Hunger Games in about a day, about a month or more for Catching Fire and I started Mockingjay in June and only finished a couple of weeks ago because of all the filler I had to put it down for a bit.
Honestly, it happens to a lot of book series. I mean, it happened to The House of Night Books, the first couple were great and then the filler kicked in and whole books were filler until some major thing happened at the end which would then be sorted by halfway through the next book to then move on to more filler.
The character of Kaniss does have flaws and I feel like she just wasn't angry enough when Prim died especially as she did so much to protect her. It almost seems as though she was more angered by the death of Rue than Prim and Rue was bound to die at some point, being in the games and all, Prim's death was just so unexpected...
