  1. If the trilogy was released with proper promotion and a world tour without the time delay of rehab it would not have copped so much flack - especially here. *listening to Kill the DJ now & its a banger😁

  3. That would make a good alternate universe suggestion. I still think the three back to back releases would have had declining sales though, just maybe each slightly higher. It was still too much material and wasn’t all of equal quality.

  9. I love that face he's pulling in the first pic with one side of his mouth in a smile. It's adorable.

  10. The trilogy had some variety, and some really good songs. I think they just tried to be everything all at once and didn't quite pull it off. I just like my distorted guitar too much, not a huge fan of the garage-type stuff, it was a bit too fluffy. Though Brutal Love is a masterpiece

  11. I think the same. Remember those times full of excitement. Oh love was a kind of a bummer in first place but the stuff was coming and it was getting a lot better. I mean, I enjoyed pretty much all the stuff they actually played live, because this band is always better live. Wild one still gives me chills. The sudden halt of promotion due BJ's rant killed the albums before the release of the first one, and it was a huge miss for the casual listeners and all the press. It's sad. I'd wish those shows at Fillmore would happened. Those would have been remembered even today

  12. Dreamt that Tre was the entertainment during a break in a hockey game. Don't remember much except that he was in a swing that looked like a cartoon watermelon.

  15. It appears that Billie has a part in the EPIX docuseries, "PUNK", that came out yesterday (march 11). More on the series from the EPIX site (https://www.epix.com/series/punk) PUNK is a four-part docuseries from executive producer John Varvatos and punk music legend Iggy Pop that features original interviews with America’s punk pioneers and the U.K.’s most notorious bands, alongside a seamless blend of rare and unseen photos, gritty archival film and video and a crackling soundtrack of punk hits and misses. PUNK explores the music, the fashion, the art and the DIY attitude of a subculture of self-described misfits and outcasts.

  20. I finally upgraded my speakers and I'm blaring Nimrod on vinyl to test them. My God this album is an experience! This is incredible. I feel an emotional connection to every song.

  21. I can't stop thinking about how lucky we are to have GD. They're still together, still making good music, all still alive, all happy and healthy and doing great.❤️ There are so many times we could've lost them, one way or another. But we didn't, and I'm so thankful that they're where they are today.❤️ I love my boys so damn much.

  26. When you walk past the Hot Topic at your local shopping mall (a store that you don't frequent), you hear "Burnout" playing inside the store, and you stand in the store's entrance for twenty minutes as they play Dookie in it's entirety. (I didn't stick around for the entire album, but I stuck around for the first half of the track listing and I imagine they eventually finished out the album )

  28. I don't even want to listen to the new Weezer album at this point. I've heard all 5 of the (mediocre) previously released tracks from the album already. Don't think the deep cuts will do anything for me
