#4 - Merry Christmas, You Assholes

I thought I'd spend this lovely period of time known as "winter break" to tell you what I've been doing with my life, which really isn't much.
Last week we had midterms but I developed the flu over the weekend and ended up missing six of my exams, including the school band's Christmas concert that I was supposed to perform in, and the band's chair auditions. So that was fun. I ended up taking five of the tests on Thursday and three on Friday, which was hell because I didn't know I was making up all my tests so I didn't study at all.
Surprisingly, the lowest grade I got was an 87% on my Biology exam.
Friday was a half day and after school my mom and I went downtown so that I could buy my little sister a Christmas present. I ended up getting her some really old hat (because she loves hats) that you'd see people wear in black and white movies. While at the store, I found a copy of Dead Kennedys' Bedtime for Democracy album on vinyl and bought it because it was only 10 bucks and I love the Dead Kennedys
Yesterday, my sister and I went shopping to get presents for my mom. I, like the amazing daughter I am, bought her a Crock Pot because why the fuck not?
Today I've just been sitting around, enjoying the fact that I don't have to be around the idiots that go to my high school. To be honest, I'll probably spend most of the day listening to records and playing Super Mario 64

I'm really good at life
Also, I wish you a Merry Christmas if you celebrate it. If not, then I'm sorry no one thinks of you during this time of year and I hope you have a good day
