Lyrics: This Time

The idea behind this, word play surrounding 'time' came to me about two months ago. I was talking to a friend about someone I was involved with, saying that this time it felt different, completely different from last time. The way we use previous events as precedent in love intrigues me and I had a story to tell, that feeling of feeling like you never want to trust again after having your heart broken in the past. This is talking about the same girl as I did in a previous set of lyrics, Are We Going Anywhere? and it's that realisation that if you want to move on in life you have to be brave at realise that next time doesn't have to be like last time, and that if it's right, next time might just be the last time. I like the way those words flow. I like the notion. The verses are the most honest account of our relationship I could possibly give. I'd love to hear your thoughts, if anyone as any.
