I was quite rightly quoted as a ''Save the world liberal''. Or i am atleast something along those lines.

How about everyone else? Any afiliations or interesting points of view you wish to share?

For me, it is difficult to pinpoint what my political affliation is. I definitely lean to and am sympathetic to the virtues of the Democratic Party and to liberalism. The "World's Smallest Political Quiz" says I am a centrist, on the left side of the grid, and I guess that's the most accurate meter of what I am.

I most easily interpret my political views through the individuals I admire: Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, William F. Buckley, Winston Churchill, among others.

I would identify as a supporter of nightwatchman socialism, essentially minimizing both authority and the potential for people to exploit each other through financial means. However, I also recognize any political system or lack thereof is inherently flawed, there is no "solution", just sort of good ways of doing things.

I admire Mike Gravel very much.

i'm a libertarian and sometimes republican.

i admire Reagan.

Left-wing Libertarian/Independent. Mistaken sometimes for 'Democrat'- I have a lot of socially liberal views but do not identify with the Democrat party unless I had to pick between the two majors (aka Dems vs Reps). But Kennedy really is my favorite president ever. Ever.

The term that I've been using to describe myself is "Leftist-Libertarian," although I also just use "leftist" or, as a blanket term, "liberal." I'm an ardent supporter of Mike Gravel as well as Robert Anton Wilson's Guns and Dope Party. I'm giving Obama my theoretical vote, although I do support Nader as well.

I support a terrorist organisation. The IRA. Does that mean I'm a bad guy?

Robert Anton Wilson was a legend.

If anything, I'm very conservative, definately a Liberal.
but I guess it really depends on each individual situation. I'm not going to stay fixed to one side of the political spectrum, and base all ideas upon that. I'd rather be quite squarely down the middle, and make a choice depending on the situation, and the possible outcome.
