The Weezer myspace sent out a bulletin asking fans to be in their music video. In order to be chosen, the fans had to respond to an email, which put then on a mailing list (for the emails regarding the video shoot).
So I hoped that I would be able to be approved for the video, but I'm not 18. So I'm just posting this for all you people that are able to know about it. Here is the email I received yesterday. It might be a little late, but I forgot to post this up a little earlier. If you guys email them like right away, there might still be time! I don't want this opportunity to go to waste, especially for the people that can use it. (srry that the email is so long). (If this thread doesn't get closed), I'll post more info if I get it.
"Fans-
Thank you for your interest in being apart of Weezer's new "TROUBLEMAKER" video! IT'S LESS THAN 2 DAYS AWAY!!! Because of the huge response, we are only able to allow a limited number of people to participate in the video, so please read below and get us your information as soon as possible.
The video shoot is this Thursday, August 21st at location to be announced shortly. You will need to be on our list in order to attend.
Times for the events will be posted on Wednesday.
In order to participate you will need to be on our list and meet the requirements listed at the bottom of this email.
VIDEO PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
Over 18 years of age and a US citizen, bring Drivers ID proof to shoot
In good health
Can spend 6-8 hours with us to perform and shoot the video
Can bring your own instrument if participating in the Hootenanny. (Please identify what instrument you play in the subject line of the email)
Bring sunscreen, water
Be a fun loving person who gets along with others

If you are able/interested in playing in the HOOTENANNY with Weezer and meet the requirements above, email us your name, age, phone number and the instrument you play to weezerhootenanny@gmail.com Please include the instrument in the subject line. Hootenanny fan participants are encouraged to bring a wide range of instruments (accordions, guitars, violins, keyboards, acoustic guitars, saxophones, other horns, other strings).

If you would like to participate in Weezer's World Record Custard Pie Fight please email weezerspecialskills@gmail.com with "CUSTARD" in the subject line.
You must meet all the requirements in the VIDEO PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS. Specific information about the pie fight will be emailed directly to those who are eligible.
Weezer's World Record Air Guitar Performance:
If you would like to participate in Weezer's World Record Air Guitar Performance please email weezerspecialskills@gmail.com with "AIR GUITAR" in the subject line.
You must meet all the requirements in the VIDEO PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS. Specific information about the air guitar performance will be emailed directly to those who are eligible.
**We also need people who are willing to participate in all events, so please indicate if you are willing to participate in more than one event by including "ALL EVENTS" in your email. Please keep in mind the following for the Hootenanny and Pie Fight:
To participate in the Hootenanny you must bring your own instrument
To participate in the Custard Pie Fight, you must be willing to get dirty and we therefore suggest a change of clothes.
