We want to create a new photo album, and we want your help. Send us a photo of yourself taking action to help the environment... a photo of you taking public transportation, checking the air pressure in your tires, picking up trash some idiot left on the beach... be creative. Show us how YOU protect the environment.

Need a little incentive? We've got a bunch of Green Day goodies to give away, so we're making this into a contest.

We're going to pick our favorite photo, and give the winner a promo photograph signed by Green Day! The rest of the winners will be chosen at random from all the eligible entries received. (An eligible entry = any person who sends us a photo of him/herself protecting the environment. Don't submit a photo of someone else, and don't submit anything that we might find too offensive to post online.) Each prizewinner will also receive a pack of Adeline goodies including a tote bag, poster, and key ring.

I was in the last NRDC slideshow thing a couple of years ago, maybe I can get in this one too.

haha they definitely are as well. id much rather be a runner up in this competition.

im kinda lazy though so i dont actively go out and help the environment. i just try and recycle or use superlong lasting bulbs. so unless you guys think a photo of me next to a lamp would be a good idea, ill prolly sit this one out

can you still win if you get one of your older cousins or something to do it, but you told them to pose and you took the picture??

I want to enter but can't think of anything to take a picture of. I'm not that imaginative, they hardly want one of me putting things into the recycling bin.

Yeah, I think you actually could, as long as it's to do with environmentalism, it counts!

But yeah I have the same problem, I'm so uncreative. I need a spectacular act of environmentalism to capture on film . I'll have to get thinking.
