I really hope Green Day don't go and the Prodigy.

I highly doubt that Green Day will come to BDO. All they've done in the past four years is just the Foxboro Hot Tubs stuff...and for touring they went to tiny clubs around the area. I don't think they would come to Australia to do a highly publicised festival when they tried to keep the FHT tour low key.



Oh and also, Pendulum are pretty much the first serious rumor for BDO, I read in an article.
I've heard of them, but never heard their music.

Iron Maiden would never do such a small "festival" They're more into 2-3 day festivals like Download and Bayfest? I think it is in Canada, On the other hand Metallica did in 2003 so yeah they probably will again. As for AC/DC I have no idea since they're non-existent in this country tour wise for idk how long.

Neil Young and My Morning Jacket have apparently been confirmed for BDO.

Metallica cost too much back in....04, so i doubt they'd come back again.
Green day, rule it out,
wolfmother disbanded and won't be back touring by january,
and acdc, wait for a headlining tour.

I was browsing the BDO forums today and apparently Lee West? Is that his name? The organiser guy, haha, said that you should never rule out AC/DC as a possibility, so maybe since they have a new single and album, it could be possible?

But we'll just have to wait until the announcement.

EDIT: Oh and Arctic Monkeys have also been rumored. I so hope thats true!

BDO? haven't heard of it. Where do they tour and when usually?

It's an Australian music festival that goes around different parts of Australia, and New Zealand also.
It's held annually, always towards the end of January.

I went to soundwave last year instead of BDO, but I dunno..
atrists drop out and new ones get put in, so things could possible change.

OMG!!! I can't wait for the BDO it's my fave day of the year hands down It's when I just don't have a care in the world get totally lose and enjoy great music all at the same time and also get a good dose of sunburn lol

I have been to 3 already and I am planning on making a 4th year but it's goin to be so hard getting tickets I was so lucky getting tickets for this years 1 they sold out in 30mins which is scary but this year they have at least let everybody kno that you can buy them over the internet at midnight unlike last year, I had no idea that they were doin that to sell them, but fingers crossed that I can get some

Hmmm, I'm reconsidering buying a ticket because it is like $140. I dunno if it's worth it if I'm only going for Arctic Monkeys.

Usually BDo is $120 if they put the price up for shit acts minus TLE so far they can get fucked.

Yeah. Soundwave is cheaper for a much wider range of bands
