Ok, I downloaded this movie from a torrent and it's avi format. When I try to play the movie in my Windows Media Player, it says xvidcore.dll not found, then it says error downloading codec. It'll play the audio of the movie, but not the picture. Anyone know how to fix it?

Try using VLC media player, it will play all video types and all unlike Media Player..

Yeah you need the avi codec. This happened to me once.

actually the avi format was broken so the VLC media player had to fix it. Apparently it was a bad file anyway.
