Full Version: Smashing Pumpking Tours!
The Smashing Pumpkins are going on a tour of small venues in August, and then doing a 20th anniversary tour in November (even though it's at least the 21st year since they started?), and then a Gish tour in early 2009!!! Tickets go on sale for the first show this Friday, and I am FOR SURE getting tickets to it. I'll be sitting at home waiting for the ticketmaster sale to open up!

Ebay will get you paying twice as much. At least that's what happened to me last year...
The only date released within a 5 hour radius is 21+! What bastards in Indiana! I was soooooooooo excited and then they pull that one out of nowhere!!!

I just discovered literally seconds ago that they'll be playing here in Iowa on August 8th. All ages.
If you got a car with good gas mileage and really wanna go, I'd say just drive here, Lawnee. Its like a 7 hour drive (I've drove to Michigan for a show before).
And its only $38 + shitty ticketmaster charges which will make it $45.

Hey I'm going to see them in Boca Raton at an outdoor ampitheatre this Tuesday, very nice, hopefully the weather will cooperate though, (potential tropical storm) i don't think the Pumpkins play too many outdoor venues so it should be pretty cool.

I saw them at an outdoor venue in Columbus last year. Twus bitchin'... and yes, the new single is intense. I saw them last Wednesday and they played kazoos in the encore. haha. Everyone seemed to hate the encore and rare setlist, though, except for me and Josh.
