In order to try and keep things more organized and not clump everything into one thread, we'll make a thread for each of the shows. Post photos, reviews, comments, updated for each show. People can let others know which shows they'll be at, and these threads can remain active in the 'On The Road' forum afterwards so that those looking for certain things can still use them. You'll find other threads for each date pinned in that forum now.

i WOULD save u a place in line but...my dad doesnt get off until 4 (is a cop in Austin) and i'm going to Austin RIGHT after school (live 45 minutes away)
i get out at about 3:25
and im having my mom pick me up at at least 2:30

I'll be goin to the Austin show, I hope. I live near San Antonio so I'll have to drive to Austin, about an hour trip. The hubby said he'd call in sick from work that day and watch the kids so I could go. Now all I need to do is find a friend to go with me...everyone seems so old these days and says "That's too late"!! Loooosers

I'm coming from Alabama, and I am SO BLESSED to be getting to go. I didn't know I was until last night, and it's been surreal. My best friend lives in Houston, so I'm flying into their airport, we're crashing tonight, getting up eeearly tomorrow, and we be in line eeearly, too lol I CAN'T WAIT! I'm terrified, but this is amazing... Just amazing. I still can't believe it. It's a Christmas miracle! GO YOU FROM WISCONSIN! That's far! lol Hope you ALL get in! Cool! My friend is going (or going to try) to go to the Austin show. She wants to take her camera, though, but just incase she gets to meet the band and take pics with them. But I told her that I don't know if they'll let her bring a camera in. I don't know. We both have never been to a concert lol!
Will they let you bring a camera inside if you don't take pictures during the concert?

someone told me that they got in w/ camera but if security sees it out then they will literally tackle u to get it. I want one just in case I see the band outside and can get pis with them....don't want to take pics inside...learned that lesson long ago...all concerned about taking pics w/ cell phone and didn't enjoy show as much.

Well it's confirmed.....my sister and I are gonna be able to go!!!!! We're so stoked. But we won't be able to get there until around 6:30pm....if anyone near the front sees two redhead sisters, we won't mind if you let us cut in

i'm planning on getting there around 1pm. call me crazy but it will be worth the wait. i'll be there with the boyz, the booze and probably some wild glamrock top. and glitter, lots of hot-sweaty glitter.

I too am going. I live in San Antonio, BUT I'm cutting my vacation short and flying in from MON-fucking-TANA to be there. As far as not too many people being in line, lets all cross our fingers. A very popular Austin Events website has posted the show, and revealed the identity of the band. My plane lands at 1:25, and I'm gunna haul ass straight to the show. To anyone from San Antonio, I played guitar on stage a couple of years ago at the GD show... One of the greatest moments in my life.. Tomorrow just may top that.

I'm going to austin from houston, Im 35 and glad to hear that there is older people going. Don't get me wrong, I love all green day fans, but some times I feel so silly hanging out in line with kids young enough to be my kids..lol

Okay.....does anyone think that showing up around 6:30pm would be too late to get in? I don't get off until 4:30 but it'll be rush hour traffic time in San Antonio, where I'm coming from, and Austin.

I don't know how many people they are actually letting in the venue total. I think they are selling these early for all the hardcore guys and gals that are in line right now.

Me and my friend got there about half an hour too late. Tickets are now going for about $100 to $140 each. Did anyone grab an extra one when they were in line?

Thats what they're doing at the phoenix show. As soon as you get your ticket, you have to go in.

man right after u posted this i got a call from my gf who drove by and did some recon. I got down there at 1145 and got in the line and was about the 50-75th person in line. i got my pair after standing in that damn heat for 4 hours and 21 minutes. yes i timed it! they started selling tix about 4pm
