yaay Final Fantasy. they were okay i'd say. my friend was suppose to lend me her games so i can't say i'm too into it.
and i recently got into Kingdom Hearts. i think it's pretty cool. hard but cool

yeah i combined Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts together because i was told that they are sort of similar. and Kingdom Hearts has some of the same characters from Final Fantasy so...

KH is great, I loved it.
The Alice In Wonderland world is pretty awesome.
I'm about a third of the way through KH2 and I'm not as sucked in by it as the first one.

What with FF being the same creators of Kingdom hearts (which I haven't played), and them both being RPG's I don't think i'll even bother with the latter. Because any incarnation of Final Fantasy I played did absolutely nothing for me.

I've seen one of the Final Fantasy movies haha. but I want to try out the games someday.

kingdom hearts is the hardest game i've ever played in my life i had to use a walkthrough for nearly every step, and i've been stuck on clayton for months. and you have to watch that cut scene every time so that puts me off bothering to try and defeat him.

I think Kingdom Hearts deserves its own thread. Its amazing.

you know what, before this turns into a "full-blown out cuss fest" let me explain...
in the first Kingdom Hearts when Sora is still on Destiny Island you see some Final Fantasy characters such as Titus and Wakka (sp?). in addition, you see Cloud and Cid and people related to that part of FF in both games. and last but not least you see Auron in the second KH. so you see FF characters in KH so i took it as a similarity thing and thought to put the two topics together in one thread.

If you were to look at both of the games history, you could clearly seperate the two of them, by a mile. Final Fantasy is widely regarded as the brown bread of interactive gaming, I know and respect this. Even if I think it sucks.

OK, I have not actually played KH yet but I have played two Final Fantasy games. I played and finished the volume VI and I played the volume VII but the disc was damaged and couln't finish the first disc.

I'll have to buy it again but I can't find it.

I love the FF series on the PSone. I think the first one I played was FF7 and that was over.... 8/9 years ago and I got kinda stuck on it.... so then I got FF8 and that one was awesome. I completed that in like.. a few months, it took me oh so long to kill of Adel, and yet that's my favourite part in the whole game, when they're in space and then Rinoa gets kidnapped by Seifer. Ohhh yeah, and the Ragnarok phase with the aliens, that took me shit long too. But I also LOVED going through Ultimecia's Castle, that was amazing, ahhh i think that's my favourite FF game, though the 9th one is great too.

Kingdom Hearts is also a great game, I'm still in the midst of completing the 2nd one, though i've defeated the end boss... but I tried to challenge Sephiroth, man he's a right bitch to finish off.

Final Fantasy is like the love of my life ahah I have soo many games especially RPG's but all I ever play is FF7, 8 and 9.
I culd play those all day long and be perfectly content.
haven't bought kingdom hearts yet, I do plan on getting it and giving it a go.
I thought FF10 kinda lost the amazing storyline that 7, 8 and 9 have and also thought it was extremely easy.
I haven't completed 12 yet, which is surprising seeing as i completed 8 and 9 over the course of a weekend when I bought them. they just dragged me into it so well. I was a lot younger when I played FF7 and it was my first RPG so I struggled with it sometimes. It's still my faveourite though.
I have FF1-6 as well back at home, I've played on most of them but haven't had a chance to complete them yet.

oh and if you like FF you'll love a game called Star Ocean.

I think my favourite part of that game is when they have to try and save garden from the missiles and just before that when they have the big parade and have to try and kill the sorceress.

i love kingdom hearts
but for some reason, i can never get into final fantasy.

you know what some FF games can relate to? Legend of Dragoon. that's how i sort of grasp FF.
