Loved it so much, and if i coould find the power cord for mine i will continue to play it. Talk about what games you played for and and how you hated that damn flashing purple screen and what methods you would use to get your games to work, like blowing into them and such. i ocassionaly hit my nes really hard and sometimes it worked

Nothing like the nostalgia of blowing the cartridges, pushing them down and wiggling them back and fourth, multiple resets, and more to get a game going.
Good times.

I had one, and the massive amount of three games!

A looney toons game, Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong Country. I absoultely loved the last two
Now I want to play them again, but they're all burried in some pile at the loft, so my chances of finding them are like 1- 245

Edit. I didn't have a NES. I had a SNES

But my friend had one, we allways went to her after school to play Mario, Dr Mario, and a ton of other games I don't remember the names of. She had a big drawer full of games, I allways wanted them so bad

Yeah I know, but heaps of people think the NES is the SNES.
It makes me angry, so I thought I'd check.
On that note.
On NES, I have a lot games, I can't remember all of them but I know I have,
Ninja Turtles, Mario Bros, and some Simpsons game, and a motorbike game.
And some Mortal Combat game.
I'll have to have a look and write them down.
NES is so awesome. <3

did anyone else have controller problems after a while... my thumbs would be so soar after playing mine cause i had to push so damn hard on the D pad to make that characters move.... I know it was from my dad playing tetris and getting pissed off at it and throwing the controller into the ground and all, just wondering if anyone else did that

The "U" you had to make in the directional pad for making special moves in Mortal Kombat left my fingers dead...

I always liked SNES more than any other Nintendo system.. Or any other system for that matter. Earthbound is one of the greatest RPGs ever created.

Word. One of my favourite games of all time easily.
Megaman was also fantastic.
When I have a job and some money I intend to get myself a Wii purely to download all the old Nintendo classics.

That's what I miss the most. We still have the gun to play it, but the game is lost. And, my dad removed the NES when he bought a GameCube. Sad times. I wish he would have left the NES alone.
I also loved playing Super Mario Brothers. That game never gets old.
I think I had both NES and SNES. One was my dad's and one was mine. I think I ended up with them both after a while.

My favorite game was Star Tropics. It also had a sequel called Zoda's Revenge.
I've got an FC Twin. It's an NES and SNES in one.
