i like the online factor though, it started that.

i have one. i don't play many games though. i stick to halo (essential), oblivion, doa, splinter cell and recently bioshock. i have a few things on my to buy list, though.

although i own guitar hero II, guitar hero III and rock band, i have never ever played them. i'm seeing how long i can resist it.

bioshock and oblivion are great

I love my xbox, I got it for Xmas and I already have 30 games for it, I have 940/1000 Gamerscore on Halo 3, and I just rented Devil May Cry 4

The Xbox 360 is the best harddrive I've ever owned in my life. awesome graphics, it looks real paired with an HDTV. and the hardware isn't so complicated and costly that it takes 8 years to make games *coughPS3cough*. microsoft has really improved on console design since the original xbox.

It's gotta suck when you get the Red Ring of Death... one of the Only things that keeps me away from the 360.

Seriously, I never had the Red ring of death, but the 360 completly sucked.

I think what did it for me was buying Saints Row thinking it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread...it was toss.

I had a RROD once. I knew I was going to get on cause I had a launch 360 and its didnt have the 3rd heatsink. So it was a matter of time before I got it. So I bought another 360.

my old 360 never got the red ring of death. it just stopped reading discs one day so we sent it in. i guess they couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with so they just sent us a new one. it took a while (it arrived a month later to the date) but at least this one works.

I'm obsessed. The only reason I'm on the computer instead of my 360 is because
it's in Texas, getting repaired by a bunch of fat lazy people.

I get xbox live through my laptop. I just used the ethernet cable tha came with my xbox. the connection is fine.

If I were to use someone's xbox 360 while they were out, would they have any way of knowing? The douche who's decided he doesn't want me playing his xbox tells me it would somehow say the last game played and when it was played.

I have a XBOX 360. I occasionally play it when I feel like Halo-ing or playing Call of Duty (have all of them except Modern Warfare which I play in PC). ehh....

The new update is coming on wednesday and I got in early.

I still don't like M$ and them making you pay $150 AUD for the wireless adapter, especially if you don't have a Windows laptop, PC or Router close to the 360 to bypass that. And then paying to play online, I don't like that.
Other then that I might actually think the 360 is semi decent.

iv heard other people say that once you get the red light of death on the 360 thats it, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

but my 360 gets the red light of death every few mouths and still survives anyone else got similar problem?
