Hey, what do think about going to the Rock am Ring Festival in 2008?

but yea, ive seen on tv clips from HIM, my chem and heaps of other good bands playing there

It´s not the complete line up. of course it´s not. More than 90 bands will play a gig.
It´s worth it.

i prefer the hurricane festival..and i think i will go there.. line up: Millencolin,NOFX,foo fighters,billy talent the kooks, maximo park...last year i was at Rock am Ring and it was really good.

yeah Die Ärzte was really good..and beatsteaks too. The Fratellis did a good show. MY top 5 are: 1Die Ärzte 2 Jan Delay <--awsome show 3 Beatsteaks 4 The fratellis 5.The sounds
There are some showerrooms at RAR, but u have to pay for it. Last year it coasted 2,5€. At the hurricane festival u do not have to pay for it.
hurricane Festival is in north germany @ Scheesel (between Bremen an Hamburg). There is also the southside Festival in Germany.

I wonder why jan delay played at the alterna stage - on a rock festival I mean, there are punks, goths, indie guys, metal heads...whatever else. and he makes funk.

yeah there are some new cool bands @RaR but also @ the hurricane festival..i cannot decide ..both festivals are great..

You should come to rock am ring or just both festivals

But when you come to RaR we would have a chance to meet

I LOVE to go, especially if Die Toten Hosen are playing. I love them and would do almost anything to see them live. Now I'm sad cause I can't go.

Wow, you know Die Toten Hosen? In Texas? Awesome. Why can´t you come? It´s to far, eh? But they released a dvd from their rock am ring concert 2004 or so. If you watch this you will feel like you´re there xD Or maybe not

I´d love to go the Reading Festival, but it´s too far for me. Except I fly with Ryanair for 100 euro

But now I´m just excited and can´t wait to June. Some of my fav bands are going to play there and that makes me really happy. So it´s not really sad that I missed Bullet for... when they played a concert in my near^^ now I´ll see them open air *juhu*

95 € now u have to pay 105 € and i study in hamburg so i can travel for free with my semester ticket to the h. festival via train

Yeah, i'm there, too. Rock am Ring is just 30 Kilometers or so away from me. "Hurricane" is in the north of germany and southside another rock festival in the southwest. it's the same with the same lineup
