here's the customary: omgz i so blates searched (but i'll be damned if i'm gonna look through 13 pages of results)
i know this is kinda late really, but what are your opinions on this size 0 trend? the fact that supermodels had to die from eating disorders in order for any action to be taken? and victoria beckham can wear 7 year old's jeans?
just wondering what everybody thought, or if they cared at all.

It's unhealthy and they look ugly.
I'd rather see people with some meat on them.
I don't get why those people find it beautiful and everything. Those girls don't have any resistance at all anymore. And wow it's terrible when you gain 1 pound. Not good.. not good at all!

It's scary how obsessed people get with their looks. I'll admit that I would change a few things about myself, including losing a couple of kilos, but I wouldn't go to the extremes that some people go to just so I'd "look good". I love my food too much anyway.

It's just so unhealthy!
Why would anyone want to look like that?
I mean, not only is it so fxcking bad for you, it just looks disgusting!
I'm not surprised that models want to be a size zero, hoping to look "perfect", I'm just happy that now their agencies and stuff are totally against it and making models either put on weight or don't fxcking lose anymore.
Size 0 is just wrong...

Personally I think girls who are way too skinny (under 110) are just as ugly as girls who are way too fat (over 250). I hate when you can see bones jutting out cause there's absolutely no fat at all. So no I don't like it. But hey if you're starving yourself so you can fit into your little sister's jeans, oh well, not my problem.

Is that good or bad to you?I'm an individualist. I believe:1. You can fix most of your personal problems on your own.2. You have no right to complain about anything you willfully subject yourself to.3. If someone's lifestyle isn't hurting you, then let them have it.

yes but do you not think problems take a turn for the worse sometimes? and that sometimes people need a gentle push in the right direction? i wouldn't be here if it wasn't for people that help. not everyone can do everything on their own.

Personally, I think if a girl reaches size 0, you shouldn't consider her a girl anymore, even though she doesn't have a dick. Girls are supposed to have curves. When they get that small, they don't have anything, no boobs, no arse, no fun stuff. They turn into a badly compiled pile of twigs wearing skin.
Of course, being highly obese isn't any better.

i think it looks disgusting. i haven't been a size 0 since i was in sixth grade, for god's sake. when your that thin you lose alll your curves and stuff anyway, and you look sick all the time. i dont see why models have to fit into size 0 clothes if the buyers of the clothes are normal and they aren't a size 0 anyway.

Ha, that reminds me of how my friend is pregnant right now so her boobs are getting bigger. Which she hates, because before she was pregnant she already thought her boobs were too big. Every time I see her, I say "It's okay, soon the kid will get sick of his house and tunnel out and you'll boobs will shrink back down."

It's called a joke, honey.
Eating disorders are largely the result of a capitalist society, which I do not support. Girls (and guys sometimes) are made to feel inadequate by corporations who want to profit off of them. But that being said, it will go away when people learn to resist that kind of consumerist shit. If you see a model and really think that's what people are supposed to be like, you weren't too bright to begin with. Likewise if you think you'll be okay shoving fast food down your throat turning yourself into a blob.
Capitalism and consumerism has turned most of us into obedient drones. It's up to the individual to resist it. And if someone is going to starve themselves, they need to wake up. If someone has a problem, whether it is anorexia, alcoholism, or anything like that, they need to want to stop.
So yes, people who want to stop should be helped. People who don't want to stop should be left to their own fate. Otherwise you're being a hypocrite by controlling them in the same way society wants to control them.

While you're right for the most part, most eating disorders only start that way. By the time it progresses to a very dangerous stage its less about getting thinner and more about eating being the only thing a person has complete control over when they feel like everything else in their world is chaotic. The same goes for overeating.

i think as long as the girl doesnt look anorexic looking its okay to be be a size 0. some girls are just born to be skinny and not gain any weight. sometimes id kill to be skinnier than what i am cuz i hate having curves but then if i didnt have any curves or meat on me i would look terrible cuz my body is not made to be super skinny and plus i like having a big butt anyway lol. i personally think its more attractive when a girl has more meat on her bones than none at all.
