MCR's "Sleep" is depressing is cuz it's so bad. nah really, I don't like MCR but there are better songs on the record than that and that's not even depressing.

there's one song I know by the lead singer of Millencolin who went to do a bit of solo-careering. it's about how his brother with a serious mental disability just got up one day and left and the family still can't find him. I think it's just the concept of the song that makes it just reallyreally depressing.

Dust in the Wind- Kansas

I love the song, but it's pretty much just saying how nothing last forever and we're all gonna be gone eventually. Everything is dust in the wind. Kansas FTW!

Freddie Mercury fan
For me it's "Mother Love" - Queen

Unforgiven & Unforgiven 2 by Metallica
dominae90
Puddle of Mudd - Away from me
CaesarSalad
epilogue - halo 2 soundtrack vol.2

i don't know why, but it's sad sounding. it's all instrumental, but the way it's paced gives it an epilogue feel, and epilogues are the end of things. so it sounds tired, restful and gives a feel like something is lost.

i'm a geek.
HeartxShaped Box
Something in the Way-Nirvana
Cancer-My Chem
Silent Eyes-Aiden
Poetic Tragety-The Used
We Are Broken-Paramore

I'll think of more soon

((sorry for the thread bump, btw))

you always say goodnight, goodnight - the juliana theory
TheVillageIdiot
Well for one, I'm not a pussy. A song can't depress me, but I can depress a song.

But I guess "I'm Da Man" by E-40 featuring Mike Jones and Al Kapone is pretty depressing.
blitzkrieg
We Are broken- paramore
Van Nuys- Sixx A.M
Angels Wings- Social Distortion
