Amanda...you could have just called it the Football League.
Amanda
May 11 2007, 09:54 AM
I guess I could Fred, but I just wanted to make sure people knew the difference between the two threads.

Stoke were 2 points from playoffs, how sad. I wanted them to be in the Premiership next season.

QPR FTW!! Hope they don't get relegated!

My home team got promoted this year. Now they're only 5 leagues below the Premiership.

May 12 2007, 08:04 AM
I reckon it sounds pretty awesome to say that Sydney FC is my 'hometeam'. And that it's better than Joey's hometeam probably.

I have a weak for Swansea City. Last year they were close to promotion, but this year they didn't even make the play offs.
What do you think about the downfall of Leeds United? 6 years ago they were in the semi finals of the CL, and now they have relegated to League One.

May 12 2007, 11:39 AM
yes, the cobblers shall be playing at elland road next season.
Leeds have only got themselves to blame for this.

May 12 2007, 11:39 AM
Sucks to them, they sold Rio Ferdinand, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, Paul Robinson, Alan Smith and probably more.

you cant pic your hometeam, the whole point is that there your nearest team, otherwise my hometeam would be arsenal.
My homeboys are Luton, not been a 'good' season.

Sydney FC is a team that represents the whole of Sydney in the A-League. It doesn't matter if you live near Parramatta Stadium or Aussie Stadium, you can still call them your local team. Whilst Manly United is a New South Wales Premier League team. It's really shit watching NSWPL games.

Ahhhhh Jay, you know me so well. I was born in Luton and grew up there.
Clearly theat Midget dumbass is so inbred the thought of leaving home is too tragic.
MK was just some shithole that i lived in for a while when i was much older (Hell i lived in Watford before then) and occationally go back to. MK dons are a bunch of twats, as in Pete Winkleman for stealing them. I hate everything they stand for and would never even dream of doing anything other than wanting them to lose. Glory AFC

And Madie, it doesnt matter what spin you put on it, there still not your home team. And i support arsenal because my nan did, and she brought me up when i was little. My first arsenal shirt was size 0-3 months, and since then i follow on the tradition and since she died i will make sure i always do. So, no cries of glory hunter, its pure tradition. like some rugby player said in my book of arsenal quotes. 'it wasnt my choice, but im so glad i was born an arsenal supporter'

It was a reasonable question and i don't think that it merited that kind of response

4-1 is a pretty good score considering Northampton is miles down the Football League hierachy.
