So then, what was your favourite song GD played? Favourite Venue?

mine is:

Jaded - Hammersmith Apollo 2005 (Day 1)

I liked the Dookie/ Insomniac tour and i always site on the left on the seats near BJ!

What about you guys?
Watoosh
Well, I only went to The Pop Disaster and American Idiot tours, but I liked the Pop Disaster Tour better.

When i went to T In The Park, Scotland 2002, we had great fun but it was cold, muddy, hard to see etc. thats why i didnt enjoy those 2002 shows. The only real good bit was when i crowd surfed with my friend to the front during Jaded! biggrin.gif

at Hammersmith Apollo 2005, the place was warm, clean and i could see everything! But my fave songs are from the Insomniac album and thats why i voted for the 1995 tour.
Kleptomaniac
i only been on the AI tour and for both times sat on mikes side in the seats. Next time Id like the pit.

everytime i saw them in 98 was the best, they did like a 2hr set anyway and loads of requests (covers/old songs)

I only saw them once in 2005 and I was sitting on BJ's side. I wish I could have been old enough to see 'em in action in the early days.

In Asbury Park 1998, GD took requests and I yelled and shouted all i could and with some back up I requested Dominated Love Slave and they played All By Myself too!! woot.gif thats cool!! cool.gif

At the 1995 Baltimore show, GD played No Pride but only about 1/4 of it because they scuffed up.
Zach Cool
Pop Distaster. First concert. biggrin.gif
Mr Smith
Well, since the only concert I've seen is BIAB, so 'd have to go for American idiot tour...

I have never seen them play live, and I regret not seeing them when they came to NZ for the AI tour. crying5lc.gif

But when they come back... I'll travel on a plane to see them, and I'd definately be at the concert that is announced as their final, even if it costed me an arm and a leg, anything to see billie for the last time.
JakeyBoy
I only saw them during the AI tour and I was at ze mosh

Yeah, the asbury park '98 show was actually amazing altho i cant remember much. My aunt was pregnant with my cousin and she was silly enough to go in the pit, but she got out again really fast cus she was getting crushed.
as i said, they played dominated love slave and all by myself.
on the 2001 asbury park show...well, that was AMAZING. I remember laughing so much at that guy who got to crowd surf! i threw a shoe i found on the floor at him from the side seats! i think that if you look really hard, you may be able to see a shoe in the backround in mid flight during just before platypus.
I either sit on bjs side or on the back seats so im looking staight at them.

Its the warning tour for me. I loved that album and the way the tour was a watershed for what was behind and what was coming up.
