First album. I thoughtn it was great, they really showed us how it was in their life, and how they react to things around them. They had an original sound, and I really liked it.

Second album. Now that they've made it big, they seem to be trying ot hard to fit into the "modern-punk" persona, but still has ha few good songs.

Third album. I think this is the worst peice of trash ever concevied, musically. They wear, obviously, expennsive clothing, way too much make-up, and all their songs are depressing and pathetic. That album suffers musically, lyrically, and realistically.

I think GC is pretty okay... I listen to it sometimes.
Their new album is pretty good, but the older songs are better.
One of my favorites is 'I want candy'.

I have a strong rejection towards their music but each to theirs.

I got their second album ages ago when i heard "Lifestyles...", and I loved it for ages. Their songs are still catchy, and "Movin' On" is fucking amazing, but i can't stand them as people and they honestly do try to hard to be 'punk'.

I don't care what everyone on here who hates them says. I don't love them, but I don't hate them. I prefer 'The Young and the Hopeless' over 'Chronicals..' but it's got a few good songs. The musics catchy and fun to sing along with. That's enough for me. I have started loosing intrest recently though, and Joel's relationship with Hilary Duff isn't really convincing me to listen more.

i walked by the stage when they were playing at warped tour '04 and they sounded like shit. i liked them in 8th grade before i realized that they're just ripping off all the punk bands i havdn't heard of at the time. and that they're just complaining about people like themselves.

I went back to see them again after Chronicles had been released and I hateddd it. I felt like I was gonna fall asleep.

Some songs are catchy - but that is it - they are catchy. I don't think their music is very good, or has much depth. And they annoy me.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed...or even mentioned this before me...I bought the Chronicles and I noticed there's a song called "Secrets" (n.8) and there's an illustration beside the lyrics that shows a skeleton coming out of a door. I don't know, maybe it's just resemblance or coincidence, but it very much reminds me of green day's song on dookie "Coming clean" (n.10). Also, on their record there's a hidden song, just like on dookie. Just wanted to mention it. Plz tell me what you think...
