Has anyone heard their new song The River? It's actually a good song. Obviously good charlotte trying to be AFI, but a good song nontheless. I might get the album one day, either for free or for cheap. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Ok so what i dont get is that they are releasing KYHOMG as a single in australia and elsewhere like the states they are releasing The River as a single. I think that is a big no no! The River is a WAY better song the KYHOMG and it would do so much better. On th upside, the album release date for australia is the 17th March but elsewhere its the 24th.

so yeah, i hope this album is better than the last, and better than KYHOMG

The GC site says the album will be release on March 27th, not the 24th.
And, I doubt they'd have 2 different singles out. They just released the video for The River and that's the one they are promoting. Maybe that one just hasn't come out for you yet, but Keep Your Hands Off My Girl isn't and hasn't been released as a single. If they are releasing 2 singles in different places at once, they aren't thinking smart.
If the CD is really released on March 17th for you, I'm going to be jealous. That's my birthday and one of the old release dates was around that time, so I was all excited about getting it as a birthday present. Now the dates have been changed again.

If the rest of the album is like it, and less like Keep Your Hands Off My Girl, I might just buy it.

you know what's ironic? they totally live the 'Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous', I remember that song whined about all that shit, and now they're all up in the tabloids.

Nah just last month the twins come down here and were promoting KYHOMG as their new single off thier upcoming album. Check this site out - CLICKY and scroll down to and have a read and you will see what I mean. It is the single here. Heres the one where it says about the release date I really dont understand why they would release to TOTALLY different songs!

Why do you reckon they would do that?!! I saw the vid clip of KYHOMG and it was shockingly boring, and crap. So hopefully, if The River is release over here, it will be better and im sure so many more ppl would like that song.

I listen to both KYHOMG and the river I have seen both videos on the net, i like the river better than KYHOMG, they are both neat songs but i like the lyrics to the River better, I not sure if i going to get their new cd yet, I 50/50 on it.

Man their new single is just awful, unlistenable, quelle horreour would say Phoebe, haha. The video sucks, but not as much as the song does, the sound is just terrible, and the singer has gotten on my nerves with his voice. It sucks that they've become in this, their first album was actually pretty listenable.

The video isn't that bad, it's similar to the rest of their videos. All of them were not awesome, and this one also isn't.

No, the Justin Timberlake song that says "cry me a river" is called "Cry Me a River".

They're releasing a different single in Australia cos they wanna suck the money out of us - they''ve done it before and they think they can get away with it cos Australia is the only country they have gotten to #1.

And Australia usually does get albums a little earlier than other countries - their 2nd and 3rd albums both came out in Australia before they did in the US.

And the dates are confirmed on the sonybmg Aus. website.

ive been listening to them for about 5 years now. one of favorite bands. although, i do have to say when i heard KYHOMG i was very disappointed. i was like "please dont tell me this is what you have become" but "the river" is awesome!! it reminded me of why i love them so much to begin with. im pretty sure ill get the CD when it comes out, i have all the rest of theirs.

The more I listen to their new song the more I hate it.

Since they wrote 'Lifestyles' they've written 'I Just Wanna Live' and they mention the contradictions between that song and their current lifestyle. They've accepted that a song that made them famous is now their lifestyle, so I don't see a point in picking at them because of it.

And you Aussies are lucky about the release date. I would be so completely happy if it was released on the 17th here. It'd be the best birthday present I've had in years.
I find it kind of stupid that they'd release KYHOMG for you though. That song is pretty...bad. I think it's the only song of theirs I don't like. The River, on the other hand, is AMAZING. I'm hoping their next single is Misery. When I heard them sing it live in concert, I instantly loved it.

Good Charlotte is okay. I used to like them a lot, but I kind of got bored of them quickly. They're like pop punk, and I just don't like that much.

But I really hope it's worth the wait. I got a little freaked out when I first heard Keep Your Hands Off My Girl. I still don't like it but The River is awesome. It's the best song they've done in a while.

I know! They put it off a zillion times! It was annoying. I don't think they can change it anymore, thank goodness. I wish I lived in Australia just so I could get it on my birthday though.

I first heard KYHOMG at the concert I went to on October 1st and it was the only song I didn't like. Joel made jokes about it being written about his mom and how he wanted to name it Keep You Hands of My Mom by it sounded better as KYHOMG. Even when he was joking about it, I lost interest in the song. It's probably gonna be the only one I don't put on my mp3 player. That and usually the instrumental song they tend to put as Track 1, if they do an instrumental song this time. They kept saying Misery was the first track, but with them, it's hard to know if they mean the first regular track (after an instrumental track) or the first track in general.
I really don't want to wait another 23 days...

Is the release date the 26th? I might pick it up for my sister.

March 27, 2007 in the US, so I'm guessing it might be the same in Canada. With the release being the 17th in Australia, I'm not too sure about dates all around anymore.
