In 6th grade or 7th when I saw this one girl wearing their shirt, just looking at the band name made me think they were a girl band.

I used to be really big into them, but that was mostly because I didn't have access to a lot of other music. Now I like A LOT of bands, and Good Charlotte just got a little lost along the way.


They're alright.

i liked them for a while back in 8th grade. i liked them a lot then, actually. then i found out more about them and other bands and realized that the others were better and that they just ripped off a ton of the older bands. they're like cheap sex but poppier, and i dont like shit like that.

don't like what i've heard,but that's not a lot.
so i can't really state a strong opinion about them before i hear more of their stuff.
but i find it really stupid and offensive towards green day that they're being compared
with good charlotte... that shit has luckily passed almost entirely.

this is still something i don't understand. green day and good charlotte play the same kind of music, like it or not, it's true. so of course they're going to get compared. just because you dont like a band doesnt mean they can't be the same genre of a band you do like. like, i like mxpx, but i know they play the same kind of music as a ton of other bands i dont like, like good charlotte and new found glory.

why do so many green day fans seem to think that basically every pop-punk band that got popular after green day is trying to be them? it's rediculous.
