I liked them a bit until I bought their album 'Good Charlotte'. That album is just total crap.
Hence I don't like them anymore....

One of my friend gave me a copy of "Chronicles of life and death"
It sucks.

The songs really aren't catchy and kinda slow, I don't know it's just boring. And all the songs sound the same. And it's not because they put piano and violin in their songs that it's their "maturity album".

....but I liked the intro. Even if it made no sense with the album.

I found them rather bad live and well...just rather bad altogether.
I will admit though, their first CD was their only good CD they ever put out.

I used to like them a lot, but now I don't really like them. Their last album was horrible. It was a disgrace to music. They try really hard to be something their not, and I think that's why most people hate them so much.

Their "new" album is, aaaaa...hhhhhmmmmm... Backstreet Boys style? I dont like them! One good song is I just wanna live... thats all!

I think their alrite...i have two albums from them - the yound and the hopeless and the chronicles of life and death and the young both are ok...well the young and hopeless is actually v.g - imo...certainly not 1 of my fave bands but their alrite

I like them, they arent my favorite...

i do love "We Believe" though.

Their only really good song is 'East Coast Anthem'.
'Motivation Proclamation' isn't bad either...
But the rest sucks.

It is difficult. By being a GC fan you are automatically labeled as some sort of airheaded ten year old. Although Good Charlotte does tend to draw in fans at a TigerBeat-reading age level. I love a lot of their lyrics, and occasionally listen to some of there older songs.

i admit that good charlotte has a GREAT cd. but it's their self titled one. I bought the second one, and threw it away. but i give props to people who like it. i mean, i do still listen to them. i really like their first cd. it's great. catchy tunes, good lyrics. but then they went all hard core looking, and to have help fittign their image they so they had tim armstrong write a bunch of songs for their second album

I love GC. They're in my top three (tied for second).
Never seen them live, but I love their CDs.

I DONT KNOW WHY SO MANY PEOPLE HATE THEM? maybe they do try to fit in.
