I dont really like Good Charlotte... they sorta suck

I saw GC for the 5th time on July 19th. It is my 2nd favorite concert. (My first favorite is GC at Galaxy Theater 2006.) It was so amazing. I got lots of it on tape.
They played so many of my favorites and they only played 11 songs (in order):

The Anthem
The River
My Bloody Valentine
Girls and Boys
Little Things
Where Would We Be Now
Hold On
The Young and the Hopeless
Dance Floor Anthem
I Just Wanna Live
Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.

I still can’t believe they played Little Things all the way through! They normally only play a small clip of it along with bits from other songs on their self-titled CD. But this time they played all of it! And when they did My Bloody Valentine! I was instantly happy. I am still so happy about the set list. If they would have had another 45 minutes I bet they would have played all my favorites. They played half of them as it is.

I hope they keep touring/coming back here.

I absolutely love the old GC (Good Charlotte - The Chronicles of Life and Death) Now, they've got pop and is only really known for the fact that Joel is Nicole Ritchie's baby's father, and Benji is dating Paris Hilton. Come on! There are 5 members in GC, not 2!!!!! I would love to see them get their crap together, head back to the studio, and make an album that's as good as their older stuff. If not, they're bound to break up soon. They can't keep going as a band when they're not known for their music!

The band isn't known for who the Maddens are dating. GC were big before the baby so don't go thinking that's how they hit is big.
And their latest album isn't pop. The only thing I can think of calling it is alternative rock. There's nothing pop about it. If you want pop, that's what most of their first album is. Pop with a splash of rock. And I'm not putting that album in a bad light. I like it quite a bit.
You can't say they'll break up soon. They've gone through hell keeping the band going. They are on their at least 3rd drummer just to keep making CDs and touring. Why would they give up now?
If you focus only on their personal lives, that's all you'll see. Look past it. Their personal lives don't make the band. I wish people would keep their noses out of bands' personal lives. It's none of anyone's business what any of them do in their down time.

Has one of their songs been used in "The Pacifier" movie?
I saw it a few days ago, and I thought one of the songs sounded like them, I'm not sure though.
Or maybe it was a different movie and I just messed everything up

I went to their show back on July 22nd and it was fantastic. The setlist was indeed amazing. I think the highlight was when they played My Bloody Valentine... I was in LOVE with that song back in junior high hahaha.

Ace band. Like the older stuff the new stuff is pretty shit.

The first album I used to like, now I don't. Same with their second. I never liked their third album.

Their newest one, I think, is their best yet.

me personally, i don't like thee "tecno" thing and i just think their older stuff is better.
i do like the River though, nice combanation with the Avenge Sevenfold singer and guitarist

He had drug and alcohol problems that the guys didn't want to put up with anymore.

well, i would think they would do what then can to sound like the original drummer. but , it's just me, you miss the original drummer, you know?

I don't really like them...I only like the song 'The River' but that's pretty much it..

I like the fact that they're really nice to GD.
