Anyone know when the next video/single is coming out?
And what is it called?

i heard it's Keep Your Hands Off My Girl but when you think about it, GC ain't so popular music wise right now.
A song for the lovers
I like GC but not very much the new stuff
Blu
snaredrummer9, they pretty much released Keep Your Hands Off My Girl already. I doubt they'll go back to it. They might, but since it's already been released in some countries as the first single, they'll probably go with something else.

Dance Floor Anthem was semi-recently released, so we may not find out about the next single for a while. It's hard to predict what song they might choose.

That song has already been released here in Australia and Dance Floor Anthem is the 1nd release here to I doubt very much that they will go back to Keep your Hands Off My Girl again

DragonsWarth27
Hmm I wonder if it would be a boy or a girl?
Sara Armstrong
neither of them have confirmed it, but other people have.
i'll truly believe it when i hear it coming from their mouths. although i sort of already do believe it.

Does it really matter if she's pregnant? It has nothing to do with the band directly, so it's not going to change anything if she is or isn't pregnant. Yeah, it's Joel situation, but it's not going to effect the music.

i don't think any of us actually said that. we're just talking about a band member, so it goes in this thread i would think.

what about their reputation? like when Tommy Lee married Pamala Anderson, he wasen't well know for Motley Crue to most people but because he married a famous plastic person/celebrity.then again, my sister told me Joel was Catholic and it's wrong to have sex before marriage so that's a shocker.
brooksy
I would have thought he'd have better taste than that, bet she did it deliberately. I'm still going to their concert though.

I'm sorry, I don't think GC are great live, but I do like the band's songs

I used to love Good Charlotte, but then I kind of ditched them. However, after hearing The River and Dance Floor Anthem, I'm thinking I might get back into them. Those songs are so damn catchy!

I liked them when I was like nine. I bought the third CD and it was the biggest waste of money. I went as far as to throw it away.
I think Joel's bad taste in women is hilarious though.

Good Charlotte used to be my favorite band. I'm not a big fan of theirs now, though. But I kept my Young and the Hopeless CD... that CD will probably always have a special place in my heart and in my opinion, it still pwns.
JadedPunk_91
^^I got sick of that CD really quickly confused.gif

I don't like them
Blu
Good Charlotte (Joel and Benji) was at the Irvine Spectrum (an outdoor mall near my university) on the 1st. They did a short free acoustic show with a signing. They had to leave early though, so my end of the line got pre-signed picture/papers. It was still cool. They gave out lots of DCMA stuff. Shirts and stickers mostly.
For the short set, they did The River, I Just Wanna Live, Seasons, and Misery. They would have done another song or two but Joel kept forgetting words and messing up. Then there was this little tiny train that interrupted I Just Wanna Live. Joel was very distracted by what he saw as a random little train with little people on it. It was funny. We're all used to The Spectrum and the little train ride for kids, etc. Joel and Benji also kept stalling to talk and comment on the heat and stuff too. It was funny and the whole thing was fun. It was horribly hot, but seeing them and getting free stuff was/is totally worth being sick from the heat.
I can't wait to see them in concert on the 16th now.

I'm seeing Good Charlotte two days in a row and the first night is getting me out of an annual party at my house that I don't like very much! The 15th and 16th are the only things I've had to look forward to in a long time. Yeah for them headlining at House of Blues on the 15th... NO JT!!!
DragonsWarth27
^I hope you have a good and fun time at the consert, even though i think they are not that great live.

adzik1410
I love "The River" to death. Amazing song. But then I don't know if I'd be saying this if it wasn't for the collaboration they had wiht Syn Gates and Matt Shadows smile.gif

Wow, have fun! I'm jealous.

For those who don't think they are good live, my suitemate had never been to a concert and GC isn't a band she knows well at all and she loved the show at House of Blues on the 15th. My neighbor (house, not dorm) and friends from high school and my best friend loved it too. And my best friend and I loved seeing GC at Staples Center. We jumped ship right after GC did their opening set. It confused the shit out of the guards. There was no way I was going to sit through Justin. Both concerts were great. I don't know how anyone can think they suck live. This was technically my 3rd and 4th time seeing them and they have been amazing every time. My suitemate and my best friend agree that GC is better live than on the CDs. The way Benji and Joel take on the stage is just fun. They have conversations like no one else is really around and the banter is just fun. And though it is totally corny and stupid it's fun watching Joel do the robot and get people to chant "robot" a bit before he does it and starts singing "I Just Wanna Live". Justin ruled out cameras and signs at the concert at Staples Center. As usual a good amount of people got a camera around the metal detectors and thorough bag searchers. At one part, Benji and Joel asked everyone who had a camera to take a picture of the two of them standing center stage. Hundreds of lights flashed all over the stadium. It was funny. The band loved it. Though I preferred House of Blues to Staples Center, both were great shows and I seriously recommend people see them.
DragonsWarth27
Who cares if others dont like them live or not they dont have to.

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

I just saw them last night for the first time on the Soundtrack Of Your Summer Tour with Boys Like Girls and gah, they blew me out of the water.
Phenomenal performance. I honestly haven't been this impressed with a band's live show in a long time. I had been expecting the worst from what I've seen on tv appearances and youtube, but by god they deliver a killer show.

And I was with one of my friends and GC has been her favorite band from the beginning. It was her first time seeing them live too and she cried from happiness the entire time. It was way less cheesy than it sounds, I was so happy for her that she was finally getting to see her heroes.

Oh, and I nearly shit a kitty when they played My Bloody Valentine. FAVORITE SONG <3

The security at the venue are always complete dicks though, so no one got to meet anyone afterwards =[
