I used to play Hockey too . Not on ice though, the common one, I don't know it's called in English. The one you play on the ground. I played for a couple of years I think, but then I quit cause I was lame at it, and I got lazy too.
The other my my aunt (who is 13 and an awesome player btw) brought her ball and the stick, and I stick have one of my old ones so we went to my backyard and played for a bit. She totally kicked my ass, and I had to stop after 3 minutes because I was going to pass out.
I can't run anymore, damn it! >.<

Pascal Leclaire is pretty good with columbus. I never thought Columbus can be a great team but Leclaire is doing an awesome job this year.
They are falling back to reality... and the realization that yet again they are the best team in the league, but are destined to choke! Hehe. (I refuse to state who my fav team is because that would just open myself up to retaliation)

I watched such a great hockey game tonight. The Blackhawks were losing 3-1 and they came back to win 4-3 in overtime. I don't care about either team, but it was an exciting contest.

I've only been to one hockey match so far. It was pretty cool. Except that the team I was suppose to support suckes.
Hi All, I'm a Minnesota "Wild" hockey fan myself. I also have two boys who play hockey. One at the highschool level, the other a PeeWee. I love the sport. GO WILD!!!

I don't know anything about that. But are slogan is "The State of Hockey".
My kid has a hockey tournament in a couple weeks, and apparently they have arranged a "Moms" game. I guess I'll have to strap on my old figure skates and see what I can do.

Thanks Beth. I'm going to need it. Both my boys have hockey tournaments this weekend. For once the rink will be warmer than it is outside here in MN.

Agent: Zednik had lifesaving surgery
Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Florida Panthers forward Richard Zednik required lifesaving surgery Sunday night after his carotid artery was severed and he lost a significant amount of blood.
"I'm not a doctor, obviously, but that's the way it was described to me," Zednik's agent, David Schatia, told The Sports Network about the procedure.
Surgery to close the laceration in Zednik's neck was performed at Buffalo General Hospital and he is currently listed in stable condition.
Dr. Sonya Noor, the attending surgeon for Zednik, said Zednik would remain in the intensive care unit and will be evaluated throughout the day.
"The entire Panthers organization wish to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the medical staff at Buffalo General Hospital, the Buffalo Sabres organization, the HSBC Arena staff and to the Panthers and Sabres fans who have expressed their condolences," Panthers assistant general manager Randy Sexton said.
Halfway through the third period during Florida's 5-3 loss to Buffalo on Sunday, the Panthers' Olli Jokinen was chasing down the puck in the right corner of the Buffalo end. He was upended as he attempted to reach for the puck and his right leg lifted into the air and the skate blade hit Zednik in the neck.
Zednik was bleeding profusely as he skated to the Florida bench, leaving a trail of blood. Attendants jumped onto the ice and rushed him to the locker room.
Play was delayed for several minutes as both the benches and the crowd were silent until it was announced over the public address system that his condition was stabilized.
Ahh god, I can't even think about that. I'm always afraid one of them in gonna get slashed during scuffles. Glad he's okay.
and I can't believe I never noticed this thread, Hockey is my favorite sport! Lets Go Flyers!!!!

After this, obviously, and it will probably happen, as it happened when this same incident happened to Clint Malarchuk and the neck protection was made mandatory for goalies... (Yeah, I read lots of articles about Zedniks incident and found that)...
