GO wings! and Go Flint Generals, they are an IHL team that I am a season ticket holder to and over the summer they were sold to a group of 8 guys and one of them is Detroit Redwing Kris Draper. This group saved our team and they are doing some wonderful changes for both the team and the fans

the hockey team where i live (toledo storm) are on "hiatus" from the ECHL for the next 2-3 seasons while we have a new arena built.

why not keep the old arena while a new one is built you ask?

does playing field hockey count? i'm a midfield which means I get to do all the recovering and basically sprint up and down the field the whole game. as for ice hockey I've only ever been to one game. It was on New Years with the Hershey bears against some other team. can't remember the team, but I know the bears won. I also remember almost being hit in the head with a free flying puck. Luckily I've got quick reflexes, but I almost broke my thumb and got a major bruise on my hand.
