The closest thing I've done that counts as running away from home was that I packed my bags and ran away a few streets. Then I remembered I had left all my cash back home.
That was my last attempt at running away.

Yea. A couple of times. Latest because of my parents wouldn't let me skip school for an MCR concert. But well, they'll let me go now. I would go no matter what anyway. They just don't get how important it is to me.

I had a friend run away from home numerous times because she fell in love with a 21 year old street kid. She had a loving family, big house, always had food on the table, and now she's dropped out of school, has become and alcoholic, and sleeps on the streets with her boo.
oh, she's 14. AND ONE LAST THING, the 21 year old is an alcoholic with diabetes.
this made me enevr want to run away from my house. I saw what it did to her family, I could never put my mom or dad through that.

I sort of ran away with my cousin when we were 8, because we thought that our little sisters got more attention than we did and we felt that we lived a really unfair life. So we packed our bags and went to the nearest golf-course and stayed there until 11PM, then we got bored and cold and realized thet our bed was better to sleep in than the grass

I kinda did ages ago I had this massive fight with my mum and I had keys to the house, so I just grabbed them and left the house. I was just going to walk around the block to cool off, then come back, but my mum didn't know that. She got in her car and looked for me and when I got into my street she saw me.
She told me to get in the car, but I didn't want to...then she said, it was either get in the car or face my dad who was at the front door. Either way I was going to face my dad, so I just got in the car. Man, was he angry. It was quite freaky.
He took the house keys off me, so for a while when I got back from school, I couldn't get into the house until either my mum or dad got home. From that point on, I've never done that again.

I remember my brother did, he was like 10 or something.
Got his school bag put cloths in it and walked out of the house.
He was probably gone an hour then a family friend found him on
his way back home. My mum and dad new he would be back, so
they didn't get frantic about it.

no but my brother has. i dont think i ever will cos i got to see what my brother went through (and i mean he really ran away and he got on a plane and refused to come back) with my parents and that freaked me out. i was 6 and then he ended up living with a friend of his for a year or something and then he came back for 2 years to finish high school and then now hes gone for good cos hes in college. i miss him. i didn't get to feel like i had a brother for long. he was always in and out.

When I was about 13, my mother told me that if I didn't like her rules, that I could just pack my things and go live with my father. I didn't have any desire to go live with him, so I just packed a suitcase and started out the door, for where, I have no idea! I walked right past her. She got so mad at me that I had the audacity to do it, she took my suitcase and threw it out the window, and I got sent to my room. That's as far as I got - the kitchen.
I never tried it again.

I ran away when I was 6, for about 10-15 minutes. I ran over to the other side of the street, and sat there, crying. I think it was either because I couldn't share rooms with my sister anymore, or because I couldn't get this really expensive Barbie doll. It was like 2000 danish krones

well i thought about doing it like a zillion times but i've never actually run away from home. In my case it would be really childish because i have never had a huge motive to do such thing. And now that i'm 18 i don't think about it at all. I have had a lot of argues with my parents and sometimes my father told me I could leave if I thought I could be in a better palce. I've never got kicked out but I was near that few times.

But when I was 12 (2 years ago) I wanted to run away from my parents home but I didn't do that.

I study in school what's quite far from my parents home, so I live in my own flat...
I see my parents one time a month.
I decided to go missing for a few days, just before Christmas. I was depressed, and had just quit uni, so I thought I'd slip away for a bit. I just left, turned my phone off and went to stay at a friends. I spent the best part of 72 hours drunk (beer is a surprisingly hearty breakfast), told my mum to 'fuck off' when she called me when my phone was on, and refused to let her know where I was. She called the police, I was put on the Missing Persons list, and she called all my friends to try and find out where I was.
Sometimes you have to be a real arsehole to people to find out who really loves you.

I've ran away from home twice.
My parents are fairly abusive, and one day, two years ago, my mom was hitting me. i eventually got sick of it, and i packed my bags and decided to leave. i didnt go very far (cant drive or anything like that). i guess i just walked like half an hour away and stayed there for maybe two days.
this was during summer vacation.
