OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! (slightly teenie?) i was talking to my dear old grandfather, about footie, he's a gooner

, and he says that my uncles wife, her grandad played for arsenal in the post war era, i shall have to find out his name when i see her, but its a good piece of trivia on its own i suppose.
and a former arsenal player (now deceased) used to live round the block from me.

Warning__
Apr 19 2007, 11:33 AM
The highest recorded score in a professional football match was 31 - 0 and it came in a FIFA World Cup qualifier between Australia and American Samoa.
Archie Thompson bagged 13 goals in that game, also creating the "most goals scored by an individual in one match" record.
