The V-Fest added Vancouver, Canada and Toronto, Canada this year! The venues are Thunderbird Stadium for Vancouver, and Toronto Island Park.

The Vancouver Dates are may 20-21 and september 8-9 for Toronto.

I am so excited that this is going to be in my hometown. I want to go so bad, but it's too bad it isn't on a staurday and then a sunday. I doubt I'll be going to both days, even though a two day pass is really cheap. I wanted to see AFI again. But it looks like it will be awsome!

They go to Baltimore I believe, also. Maybe that's closer for you. The north american shows are vancouver, toronto, and baltimore.

The best part about it being on a monday is that we don't have school that specific monday! Awsome! Now I can go to both dates.

Urgh, that's even further... oh well.

Anyway, the line-up is pretty good. MCR, Muse and The Killers are ace.

It can't be that much different from the canadian one.

Now that there aren't two day passes and each ticket costs like $43.18, I don't think I'm going to pay almost $100 for two days of this. Plus hotel and all that, my parents would die.

ahhh, I can't pick! If I went to day two, I'd only be going for AFI. Muse would be cool too. But day one, I'd be going for MCR and Billy Talent. And I've already seen AFI before, but they are amazing!

Metric just got added. I'm so excited. This is going to be great!

And as of today, Rise Against will be replacing Muse. But Wont be able to see them since they are playing on the first day and I'm going to the second. oh well, I've already seen them before.

Nope, each day has a differenr line up. It was a hard decision, but I chose day two for metric and afi. I've already seen Rise Against and Billy Talent and seeing mcr live doesnt really interest me. So I'm sticking with day two.

They havent even begun organizing the toronto one since its in september and vancouver is in two months. They are almost completely unrelated, just that they are owned by virgin. arg im not so happy with the toronto line-up. im not going to go.

I'd go I I were you. Any chance you have to see Tokyo police Club, see them!! And Smashing Pumpkins. should be worth it. It will only get better as the line up gets bigger.

day 1.
by the end of the fesival i would have seen billy talent, rise against and mcr live two times each.
that is, if mcr performs in vancouver on the 4th of may aswell.
its on their official website, and i've heard it from other people
but when i went to buy the tickets it said they would be in Reading, PA on that day

but i'm not a fan of either. i don't know their music at all.

oh well. I like them.

I get to see AFI and Metric for the second time in a row and see tons of other great bands for the first time.

I really do love all of those bands. Except for the killers, I dont mind them, but I want to check them out.

I watched yesterday's on live webcast and it was amazing. Now ill actually be there!

THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!
It rained so much my clothes were soaked to my skin.but the show was amazing! I acually cried I was so happy.I'm not leaving early for the festival like 123 is though,Becuase the weather sucks.but seriously,one of the best shows I've been too.

That was one of the best shows ive ever been to!!

The Smashing Pumpkins are playing the Toledo one. I'd totally go if it wasn't $125 a ticket, in another country (though only about 5 hours away), or at a festival.
