Doubt that there's many Fall Out Boy fans on here. But they kick off their new tour on April 18th in my hometown - Charlotte, NC. I might be going. Tix go on sale February 17th...
So, anybody else looking into going?

$90?! What?!
I saw them twice about 4 years ago opening for American Hi-Fi and Gob, and they were honestly pretty damn awful live. They had awesome stage presence, but the music was just BAD. Hopefully, for the sake of anyone who pays $90 to see them, they've improved since then.

the tickets arent going to be $90. have you ever bought tickets for bands like FOB? it will probably be around $30 but then extra charges for the venue and stuff will probably make it like 40 or 50

They're going to be between $30-$40. I hear that they kinda suck live but hell, they'd be good for a first concert, I suppose.

Prices usually depend on the venue, not the band. Well, that's not
completely true, since more popular bands tend to cost more, but that's usually because they have to play bigger venues.
but anyway, $30 is still a lot to me. I haven't been to a concert that cost more than $25 in years (and that being the maximum).

When I heard about this tour, I nearly cried.
I love ALL the bands who are opening for them, but I fucking hate FOB.
If it was ANY other band than them, I'd totally be going to this. I know I could always leave before they came on, but I don't wanna support them at all by buying a ticket. That may be childish, but whatever. hah.

I was hoping to take my 13 year old to the Tampa date, but it's soo close to my due date, so I will not be able to gp. I think she may be going with a friend though - depends on whether or not said friend can talk her mom and dad into selling us one of their tickets and only one parent going.

i went a few days ago...i was about 7 feet from the stage on the floor.
it was really good, i didn't expect cobra starship to be as good as they were.
fall out boy was the same as they always have been, so judge for yourself whether that's good or bad

One of my friends went to this on sunday. She said The Academy Is and Cobra Starship were amazing, +44 was pretty good, Paul Wall seemed really out of place, and FOB completely sucked (and she likes FOB).

And a little question for anybody that did go,
did Joe Trohman have that hippie/ hobo look anywhere else?
Cuz he did at this one and I found it very strange...

i went to see them in cleveland OH on 5/20 and they were AMAZING live. one of the best concerts i ever been too. they also are coming back in the fall with the gym class heroes. so hopfully ill get to go. and yes joe did have his caveman /hippie look goin on but i think he looks kinda cute with his big fro and his facial hair.
